Hockey is meh on the boob tube. Saw two sharks games a year in the Tank three years running. The kids love it live. Hockey is much better live. It doesn't come across well on TV. If you really understand the game, it is quite enjoyable on TV. Obviously better live, yes, but quite entertaining on TV.
