Trump/GOP bullshit

Re: Trump/GOP bullshit
The more you talk, the more you reveal that you don't understand.
You do understand that that state taxes exist, right? And that Congress has no authority to reduce state taxes.

Re: Trump/GOP bullshit
Every state has state taxes, be it income, property, sales, other, or more likely, a combination of them.
Every state has poor people who rely upon SNAP benefits to eat.
Every state will see an increase in their obligation to fund the program, assuming the budget bill becomes law as it passed the House.
Granted, because Louisiana has one of the highest percentages of citizens on SNAP, we will be hit harder than most.

Re: Trump/GOP bullshit
There is no Constitutional right to welfare. And, in our society, the criteria for receiving money taken from your neighbors to support yourself is and should be determined by your neighbors.
If the people of Louisiana believe that welfare should be handed out to their citizens in larger amounts and without verification, efforts to work etc., than the federal government now believes is appropriate for federal assistance, they can vote their state taxes higher and provide those benefits. If they do not feel that way, the people adversely affected could move to a different state that provides additional benefits.

Re: Trump/GOP bullshit
You're trying to make a point, but it isn't relative to the Congressional budget bill.
Congress isn't changing the amount of SNAP benefits, it is just making the states pay for a greater portion of it.

Wrong.
The tax cuts were only for those who are in the highest tax brackets. The rest of us would probably benefit if those tax cuts went away.

How could you possibly cut the federal income taxes of the lower two quintiles of federal income taxpayers that presently do not pay any federal income taxes (and have not done so for decades)? Think about it. And once you've accepted that there is no possible way to cut the federal income taxes of people who do not pay federal income taxes, riddle me how any federal income tax cut could not preferentially cut the taxes of people who actually pay federal income taxes moreso than it does for those who do not. Then go back and read your first post quoted here. And then slink away from this thread for a while like you always do when the softball bat of reason smacks you solidly in your dome. You are a progtard wind-up toy. You believe nonsense because you are programmed to do so. It is mathematically impossible to provide preferential federal income tax cuts to people who already do not pay federal income taxes.

It’s such a travesty! And to think, some people believe that the government can lower tax rates and simultaneously collect more tax revenue in dollars!! That’s just pure mystique and nonsense!!

But why are you limiting your focus to income taxes? The bill is substantially broader than that.
Perhaps this will help:
How Trump’s megabill transfers wealth in the US
Again, this is obscene. How the fuck is it a good idea to benefit billionaires over the middle class? Since Reagan brought us "trickle down", the middle class and less fortunate have been hurt more and more. Wealth disparity is worse now than at the time of the French Revolution.
Re: Trump/GOP bullshit
This is embarrassing. Sane people do not talk like this. The President of the United States should not talk like this.

Presidents are supposed to unite our country, not divide citizens into "us" and "them". He literally is making his cult members view the rest of us as the enemy.
This is not normal, and you shouldn't try to pretend that it is.

It is completely embarrassing.
As Roux said, the president is supposed to unite the people of the nation.
Not that this is new, but Dumpy is posting a completely incendiary rant that reads as if he has tear of frustration in his eyes.
And to top it off, he posted in ALL CAPS.
An emotional retard leads America.

The ONLY person trying to stem that tide and return investment into American manufacturing is Trump, so don't try to pretend like you give a flying fuck about the middle class.
