The winner will be whichever team that decides to start playing defense first. Neither has so far.

I would say the lack of defense resembles a B12 game, but flipping to the other game, the B12 aren't playing any offense -- to busy bitching about the cold or something.

Somebody should tell Auburn that while their rushing game is very good, the forward pass is actually a legal play. Gotta keep that Mizzou front honest.

I believe they "honestly" forgot what the phrase "gap assignments" means.

Brain crampage at it's most obvious....it was like they were waiting and asking the refs if they would like the opportunity to review the call prior to snapping it....

Watching that 1st half wore me the fuck out. Mizzou better make some big adjustments to slow that run game, it seems unstoppable. Thing is, nobody has run the ball like that on them all year. They've held everyone under their season average, every game. Just unreal.

I think it's time to start drinking, heavily.

The "vaunted" defense of Mizzou looks fucking horrid when they finally played a team that runs the ball.

Great place to put the cart guys. Auburn defender should have been ejected IMO.

And Missouri receiver should have been flagged for the face mask. Stiffarming doesn't include putting fingers through the facemask and twisting the defender's head.

Should have been an offensive penalty, with the defense docked 15 afterwards for the unnecessary.

I said early in the season their defense was weak. It has gotten better, but they've never seen a running game like this.

What a shoot-out, what a game.

Is anyone going to play defense in this game? The story will be the amazing offenses though. :meds:

The rules do not really allow for an ejection for the late hit out of bounds. The face mask was missed, but it does not excuse the shove that was beyond the media restraining line.

And the winner will still cry about being "snubbed" for the MNC game.

Several teams would kill either of these squads. Stanford would put on a clinic.

Hence me thinking the play should have been called back, then advanced 15 after that (I think that's how that works, not sure).

The foul for the offensive face mask is enforced from the spot of the foul. So 15 from where ever it occurred. The late hit was a dead ball foul and would therefore be administered after the face mask foul. It too is 15 yards, but if the ball was inside the 30 then it would be 1/2 the distance to the goal.

Thanks. For some reason, I thought the facemask brought the play back.

If there's an area where Mizzou really needs an upgrade in talent, it's at the cheerleading position.

Is that a cheer squad, or a WNBA team?

In other news, the now 9-0 Mizzou hoops team beat #18 UCLA 80-71.

Fuck off dim. My team lost today and I will eat plenty of crow for that. You on the other hand have tried to ride my nut sack for over 3 weeks to no avail. I predicted then that Mizzou could make a run
at the mnc and you said there would be no way that they could do a, b, c, d or e. I was right with a, b, c, and d. They failed at e, but they gave it a good run. My fucking team played in a conference championship game today.

Tell the cheerleading squad not to ignore the calls from Adrian Klemm.
