Do the Sox have Rivera's number?

Post by Laxplayer »

Yesterday they score off him, today they're pounding him, in the playoffs they torched him.....so do the Sox have his number or does he have a mental thing vs. the Sox?

Yanks better hope for more blowouts against the Sox like on Sunday...hard to believe any team could get the better of Rivera like this. I guess since they play each other 20 times or so, you get pretty familiar with the opposition.

They play 16 more times this year....I guess that's 16 possible chances at a blown save.

He's on pace for 60+ blown saves this season.

That would be some kind of record, or something.

If you release him then you can pick up Javier Vasquez.....or Carlos Beltran.

Personally for me, I don't like seeing that guy come in......means the Yanks have the lead. Despite what Foulke offered up to Jeter yesterday, I'd rather see him come in to shut the door.

Hate to say it, but He'll get the 'Sox and shut 'em down again, although I fukkin' hope not.

Rivera looks better on the bench (IMO)
Enter Sandman?

How about....Enter Pencilman?

Oh yeah......FUKK THESE DAY GAMES!

These games suck that they are playing so early in the year. That said, Rivera has some serious issues to deal with concerning the Sox.

Yeah, I was watching my 7:30am highlights over breakfast and saw that. My eyes also went  when the announcer mentioned his ERA.
