at the Hollywood casino last night playing 4/8 PL poker...about the 4th hand i play i get dealth pocket Aces..i raise..i get 2 callers...

flop comes K 5 6 rainbow....i raise..he calls....next card is a 10..i raise..he calls...river is a J...i raise..he re-raises...i call...i really didnt think he'd have a straight, i felt maybe he had K 10...he flips over 5 6 for 2 pair...i think to myself what a godamn fucking idiot for calling in the first place...after he turns them over he says "they were suited i had to call"..what the fuck ever...so i put him on the "payback" list..

about 2 hours later i hover around 100 bucks in chips (what i sat down with). i get dealt 2, 4 of diamonds..guy before the black dude raises to 4...black dude raises 4 on top..so it's 10 to me...i figure..fuck it..I'M SUITED!!!!! normally i would never call..but i was really hoping to get lucky and hit maybe a flush or something...really i was expecting to throw away 10 dollars...i call anyhow...it's just me the black dude and the original raiser in the hand....flop comes...4,k,2...VOILA! original guy bets 4..black dude calls...i call...next card...4 of clubs! mwahahahahaha..i coudlnt believe it...one of the only times ive ever intentionally TRIED to get lucky...and i get lucky. original guy bets 8...black dude raises...at this time i'm thinking maybe this guy has pocket Ks?? or maybe he's being stuborn with something like 10s...anyhow...last card was an Ace...same ordeal...this time i raise tho...original guy was just bullshitting...he folded and gave that disgusted look like maybe he was chasing a straight or something...black dude calls...i flip over and show the boat...black dude flips out...flips over pocket Queens..."How can you call with bullshit like that??" i felt like saying fuck you nig.ger you called me with 5,6...instead i just said 'poker is a funny thing' couple of older guys from Nawlins kinda laughed about it..but the black guy was flipping out..."i gotta take a fucking break" . he left the table for about an hour...came back from the buffet in a better mood.


I still can't believe i actually got lucky when i was trying. the stars musta been alligned! lol...any of you guys have anything like that?

Fuck Microsoft and fuck EA Sports. I bought NCAA 11 and lost interest after a month. They put out some patch that was supposed to "fix" the pump fake, but instead, it made it so that if you just drop back and pump fake backwards (towards your own end zone), the entire secondary would bite on it and leave everyone wide open. I tried it a couple times in practice mode just to see how bad it was and I never went online again. Apparently they fixed it a month or so later, but that's just one of a zillion issues with that POS franchise.

I'm pretty much strictly a COD guy these days. I'm not even going to buy NCAA this year unless I read some rave reviews on the message boards a few months after it comes out. I've bought every edition since NCAA 02, but I've never seen a game so plagued with bugs/glitches/exploits/money plays. They have yet to release a decent version of the game for the latest generation of consoles. I refuse to give EA Sports another dime of my money until they start addressing the serious gameplay issues with that franchise instead of adding dumb shit like Road to Glory or field degeneration. I couldn't give two shits if the players' uniforms get dirty or if Denard Robinson, errrr QB #16 has fucking dreads. Fix the goddamn core issues with the game and worry about presentation later.

Go buy a PS3 and Black Ops and we'll talk...

10 times better players. Sure, there are mobys on xbox, guys who need a full clip to kill a guy standing 2 feet in front of him, but guys like me, who are in the 2.25K/D range are average at best players.

Had my fiance buy Mw3 hardened edition(preorder) from gamestop for my birthday. No gimmick toys, but you get access to COD elite and all Map packs will be free with hardened edition. So you end up paying for maybe 1 map pack, rather than all 3, if you figure out the cost of Map packs and COD elite.

Meh. I just couldn't stomach paying for online. Plus, I can't even crack a 1.0 KDR on PS3, so even if you were right about Xbox players being better, I'd just get raped even harder and have to use some janky-ass controller the whole time. No thanks.

How much is the hardened edition and what exactly does COD Elite get you? I'm definitely down with free map packs.

COD elite is a monthly pay service that charts your games, lets you find clans, etc.

I wouldnt pay for it, but it comes in hardened package. And the DLC is included for the game. So all map packs will be free.

Cost is $99 Game =$65 COD elite $5(?) a month All 3 map packs(or 4)=$36-40? So you end up getting COD elite free and paying for 1 1/2 map packs or so.

No gimmick toys with this one, like MW2 had the infrared goggles, and BO had the remote control car.

Just turned 38 last month, which probably explains my godawful KDR on Black Ops. Those 15-year-olds have far superior hand/eye coordination. I'm pretty deece at NCAA 12 though. 52-35 and ranked in the top 1500.
