Helton a roider?

Wayne Hagin, former Rockies broadcaster, current Cardinal broadcaster and the most vanilla play-by-play guy ever, told the denver post that Baylor informed him that Helton did some roids until Baylor pressured him otherwise.

Cudes, Biggie or any other denver trolls hear about this? Is there a local reaction?

reminds me how spoiled I was with Jack Buck and Mike Shannon. Probably the two biggest reasons this is a bseball town.

Rack that. Wayne Hagin had some enormous shoes to fill. There's no way to replace Jack Buck, much less Mike Shannon.

There is no freaking way in hell Helton was 'roided up. First off, he only hits roughly 30-40 home runs throughout the season and doesn't have 18 inch diameter biceps nor is his head just as big.

He's pretty much the only current Colorado Rockie that's worth paying the ticket price for. He plays the game "sober" and is a very class guy and extremely active in the community.

Good thing it was just a "miscommunication". I can't imagine this guy going before congress much less going before a municipal court.
