Rodgers put up good numbers last season, too.

Except for that pesky 6-10 record as a starting QB.

The name of the game in the pros is WINNING.

You've got to win and you've got to win when it counts, or else your balls are gonna get busted.

See Tony Romo.

Maybe your guy will do it, I dunno.

A 150 passer rating so far this preseason with 6 TDs and no picks- not too shabby. He's making the right reads and not making the big mistake right now (willing to throw the ball away instead of force one in there), and that is what I wanted to see out of him in the preseason. From all reports that I've read he has really taken command and became a leader this offseason, and that has carried over into the games.

This team is going to be a lot better than their 6-10 mark last year. The shift to the 3-4 defense has been great. Even though it is the preseason the amount of turnovers they are generating is promising.

Now they just need to avoid the injury bug for the last two weeks......

I like the Packers in the North this year because of their additions to their defense and their overall defensive change in philosophy. The big key will be having a healthy and reliable Ryan Grant.

I liked what I saw on both sides of the ball.

I think the Pack could win the division or at least a wildcard spot.

You better stand the hell down, Francis....if the CHIEFS were doing the same I'd still reserve judgement, because it's the MOTHERFUCKING PRESEASON. Lest we all forget, the Lion went 4-0 in the preseason last year, and we all know how they fared once the games counted.

I think Rodgers is going to be pretty good, in all honesty. The qb situations in the NFC north are pretty interesting.

You're the most myopic fucker that has ever lived so please stick to posting about how the Quiefs having losing seasons are actually good, you Fat Fluffer!

No I wouldn't Francis....again, nothing in the NFL preseason is representative of how the regular season goes. It's been that way as long as the NFL has been around. And how funny is it that you're calling ME "myopic" when I call out m2ool for bragging about completely meaningless preseason stats, and you rush in to his defense as if I called your momma a whore.

Being as how I picked them up as my #1 Defense on my FF team, I hope you're correct.

And Rogers is most likely a top 5 QB this season.

Wait........aren't you the one who swore Favre was going to say retired because he gave his word and everyone who doubted it was a tard?

You take that stance and you have the nerve to call anyone else on the planet myopic?

KYOA defined.

Are you sure that you even know what Myopic means? I doubt it.

I understand you're from Kansas City (land of the retards).... well, basically anyone that still spends their lives in the Midwest would fall into this category.

But, anyone with a working brain stem... would understand that "Game 4" of the pre-season has the starters playing a half to three quarters of the game.

That being said, A-Rod went against the NFC Champs first team.... and threw up close to a 40 spot in just a half.

The fact, that you're unaware of that makes you a FAT FUCKING RETARD !!!

Pssst.... he was a top 5 qb last year on a team completely null and void of any sort of defense what so ever.

Check the passer ratings.

This year (pre-season)... there isn't a qb in the NFL even close to his production.

Remember... this is only his second year as a starting qb in the NFL.

And your point would be?

Newsflash: Having a shit defense tends to inflate a QB rating. See Thigpen, Tyler.

I was off by one.... he was top 6 in his rookie season as a starter.

As you'll notice... all of the top 5 qb's were on playoff teams and one ended up in the Super Bowl.

A-Rod is the only one of these qb's to have a shit defense.

Try and keep up.

What I notice is that you're completely devoid of any objective NFL analysis but instead fixated on former Cal players.

Whatever floats your boat.

But when you start comparing QB rating to the defense of the team in question, that's whack.

That is NOT ... the truth.

GB had the 20th ranked defense last year.

N.O. (Brees) had the 23rd ranked defense.
S.D. (Rivers) had the 25th ranked defense.

Arizona (Warner) had the 19th ranked defense.

In summary, Wagon's point has some validity.

Being a QB on a team with a BAD defense can inflate your numbers.
