Looks like we're in for another Allison

Depression upgraded to a Tropical Storm today moving at a snails pace towards Galveston. They anticipate "Humberto" to have the same stalling effect when it makes landfall just like what happened with Allison. Not good. Not good at all.

Maybe you should strap your wife to a flatbed trailer and move the fuck out of that shithole.

Better yet, leave her behind. She'll do nicely as a breakwall.

We might need a place to stay. Will Wolfman vouch for you? Didn't think so.

What's he supposed to say? He sure as hell isn't going to risk having your she beast rutting around Florida. She might damage the lenai.

Damn, I just filled my new pool with water on Monday. I guess I could've let Mother Nature do it.

Thankfully, I live in NW Harris Co. - the part actually well above sea level.

Still relatively high ground there. If you were on the south or southeast side of town, I'd be looking for a hotel room for the next couple of days.

Unless Lake Houston causes havoc around the Atascocita area during weather events like this.

Exactly, Rump.

Don't mess with the grass clippings on the south or southeast side. Dry, those things are bad enough, but wet? You may as well just ditch your vehicle, and head for high ground.

Nothing like a nimrod starting a dumbass thread.

The above projection is current as of 8:40 P.M. central. Want to explain to me how entering well east of Galveston and progressing to near Shreveport in ANY way mirrors Allison?

Beaumont and Orange will get the brunt of this bag of wind, not Atascodamnmysisterhasafineass.

Hey fuckstick, the projected path was right over Houston just hours ago. I didn't check the update until later. Thanks for playin'.

Ok. A projected path of a storm less than a 100 miles off the cost is cause for IMMEDIATE concern. After going through hurricane Alicia a TS Allison, maybe you would understand my worrisome ways.

WOW!!

80MPH winds, with a few hours of heavy rain...

'Round these parts, we call that "winter." Except it lasts for 2-3 months, rather than a few hours.

Isn't Rumplewife rated to withstand a C-4?

I'd lay money that Rumplebulwark and a couple dozen sandbags could defend the fucking town against mother nature.
