Props to the White Sox

Post by Jack »

The better team won!!

I will root for the White Sox the rest of the way.

They appear to be a well managed team with all the right tools.

Starting Pitching, Rleief and closing pitchers.

The right mix of Power, speed and timely hitting along with a winning attitude!

GO SOX!!

The White Sox won this series like they won the majority of their games this year...they just did everything right. The lineup really doesn't turn too many heads but their bats out performed the mighty Red Sox bats. Helluva run for the Red Sox this past year but the better team won.

I can, as long as it's anyone but the Yankees. :P

Took 88 years for the White Sux to win a playoff series. Last playoff series won for them was the WS in 1917.

How's that possible...didn't they play in the World Series in 1958 or 1959? Didn't they have to win a series to get to the World Series that year?

They were in the WS in 1959 but didn't have to play a series to get there. Back then there were no divisions. Just an American League and a National League whoever won each league squared off in the World Series. They won the AL West in 1983 only to get beat by Baltimore, and won the AL West in 1993 only to get beat by Toronto. Do your research and get your head out of your NHL-loving ass, dumbcunt.

The White Sox were the better team. Not much else to say.

I saw my team go out there and just forget to play.

My 'Sox just looked so tired, some guys even looked bored....

When it was all over, Trot Nixon said: "Praise the Lord."

Can you believe the friggin' White Sox and the way they kicked or cans?

I just hope they continue to piss off other fans!

The ChiSox were a better team than the BoSox all year.

Now can they please stop with the Curse documentaries on ESPN and HBO. Fuck.

I bet they'll start up some new dumbass theory on why they won't win again for another 50 years and we'll have that crammed down our throat. Maybe it's the curse of letting Pedro leave.

Don't lie, Oedipus Confucius Faggotus.

You should be feeling thankful that your collection of overpaid, whining pussbags have even made it to game 5, you fucking faggot.

Or are you going to "RACK THAT " when the Angels kick your boys out tomorrow night?

Good to see that you've made a strong push for what might possibly be the first-ever bitch of the MLB forum, Tardowen.

Btw, this is pretty nice, coming from a fucking Yankee fan:
... the White Sox didn't spend anything near ...
Nice "spending" smack, Tard. What's next, "city" smack?

Oh yeah, you don't actually live in NYC.

Sort of like all the Yankee fans on this board, only you're a special fan, Todd. You've definitely made that pretty clear.

See, even true Yankee fans don't particularly like dick-sucking faggots who fantasize about their mothers when the announcers say "He's SAFE at HOME."

Please get back to this thread, after your team loses.

Actually not. Hopefully, you'll just go away, just like your team.

And everybody here can just laugh at your pathetic, meaningless posts for oh, say, the next 6 months or so, just like the rest of us will be laughing at the announcers and not with them, when they reference the ousted Yankees.

One more thing...the White Sox didn't spend anything near to what the Red Sox did to put a team on the field. RACK THAT!!!
Here I go again.. responding to an iodot!

Team salaries 2005

NY Yankees -$205.9 Million
Red Sox - $121.3 Million
LA Angels - $95 Million
St. Louis $92.9 Million
Houston - $76.7 Million
Chicago White Sox - $75 Million
*************************
Difference between Yankees and Red Sox - $84 Million
Difference between Red Sox and White Sox - $46 Million
Difference between Yankees and White Sox - $130 Million

The Yankees payroll is GREATER than the Red and White Sox combined!!
and I didn't even add in Luxury tax and revenue sharing!!
