Todd, have you ever heard JaMarcus speak?
The networks need their TV analysts to have at least a little personality, and they have to be able to speak. JaMarcus doesn't, and can't. He's a sullen lump. There's nothing he could add, and unless the topic has to do with taking too long to get rid of the ball, then fumbling while getting sacked, who would want to hear his "expert" opinion?
Did you ever see Ryan Leaf doing a network TV gig? Compared to JaMarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf is Bob Costas.

I can't think of many things JaWalrus is less equipped for than public speaking.

Anyone else see the segment on ESPN where Gruden spouts off typical verbiage of a NFL play call and Cam Newton sits there with a blank look on his face? It will take a career for this guy to learn how to call plays.
