I did not say that no injuns lived past 30, just the lucky/unlucky ones. Also, he spent the majority of his life living amongst the white devils and there is a fairly good chance that he was still alive in 1866 because of them. I do not know what the pre-columbian (isn't that what the smart folks call it) avg lifespan was for a U&L injun, but it wasn't 80 years. And it was a pretty fukking hard life.
