My neighborhood has a 70% average turnout rate. There's no gain for a large organized voter registration drive here. Now 10 miles to my west is a whole different story.

Been a tough year for business...was going over next years budget with comptroller yesterday, and she is saying, it may be more profitable to just liquidate the company assets..since the current corporate tax rate will likely increase, and it is making a ROI much harder to get versus what we could have had in conventional investments. So that throws 5 famliys incomes out the window, the tax payments stop, and we all just go get jobs and wait for our next hand out"(" stimulation payoff"). That's really helping our capital markets work.

If the work does not dry up completely, corporate and small business America can turn this economy around. Keep inflation ( i.e. energy) prices under control, back off the corporate tax and let some of this money go back into the economy...and go to work..In this economy and in a turn around economy...my business can easily beat the market on returns...and that is a pretty wide spread indicator of how well business can do....and what your business strategy will be for the next 3 year's or so.

Can we beat the market for return on investment ?? If so, then lets get fucking rolling... if not then sell it all, growth stock mutual fund it all, pay the taxes one time and I will get a job driving truck or heavy equipment and try and cheat on my taxes as much as I can.
