If you ever got the impression that I'm working for the government, it was the wrong impression.
I'm not in the gov, and nobody protects me.

There are no guns here.
There are also no big racial problems ..... almost everyone is Korean.
So yes, without a doubt, it IS safer here.
The nightly news doesn't open with 5 straight stories about people getting whacked.
America is a sick fucking place, man.

But hey, if your number is called you're gonna go when it's time to go, no matter how 'safe' you think it is somewhere.

I guess the 'fear' citizens here can have is that one day a gov. will decide to run roughshod over the people and, without being armed to do jack shit about it, they'll have no choice but to capitulate.
