laugh all you want--at least I have plenty of
warning--already stocked up with water, canned
food, etc. and it takes about 30 minutes for me to close all my hurricane shutters and hunker down till it's over.
The worst is having power out for a couple days at most.
I remember many a storm in CNY that came with no
warning and wrecked people's homes, cars, flooding,
etc.--
in fact my older son had a tree fall on his house in
a recent storm in North Syracuse.
