It's Mike's favorite song, "Cracka Shut the Fuck Up".

Last night Hannity was broadcasting from the Billy Graham Crusade.

A right-wing news channel broadcasting from a religious event......I wonder why that might be?

The right isn't called the 'religious right', the religious right is called the 'religious right', it's a subset, you moron.

No freekin duh Einstein...

My point being, why don't we hear "Religious Left" (subset if you will ) in light of the two aforementioned moron Rev's spewing Leftist rhetoric from coast to coast.

Religious right:
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Use of the term Religious Right is thought by some to be an example of stereotyping by liberal media and leftwing political activists. Others believe that there is no stereotyping at all, and the term "religious right" is used more often than other similar terms (such as "religious left") simply because in the United States the Christian Right forms a more unified group than others of the Christian community.

Uh, hope that clears it up for ya

There is nothing "religious" about the two con artists in question.

They are merely overseers keeping their flocks on the Dem massa's plantation in line.

They are all con artists. Jackson and Sharpton are media whores, Pat Robertson will interpret the Bible to suit his hayseed pigfucker views, Falwell was considered an out-there freak until he convinced enough hayseed pigmolesters to follow in his ways... no man of God is looking to garner headlines.

Yep. What he said.

Same goes for Swaggert, Dr. Gene Scott (fun though he was to watch at 3 am), Billy Graham, Benny Hinn, leftist priests and nuns protesting at naval shipyards/presidential speeches/government stuff or doing that "liberation theology" bullshit...

You mean that "bullshit" where Romero asked the junta to stop killing peasants and raping nuns, only to get a dome full of lead?

I wouldn't go so far as to say that every priest on TV is a fraud, but the ones who repeatedly answer the call from CNN to comment on shit like the Michael Jackson trial are complete fuckups.

No, I'm referring to the bullshit that is laden in Marxist ideology and terminology, as it was pushed in Africa and Latin America. Even JPII wound up denouncing it (which makes sense, given his anticommunist stance).

What you overlook, unintentionally or otherwise, is that Falwell, Robertson et al are religious leaders who (rightly or wrongly) speak out on political issues.

Those cited on the left are primarily politicians disguised as religious leaders.

And the left is overwhelmingly dominated by secularists who are inhearantly hostile to any religion except their fundamentalist atheism, masquerading as being "openminded" and "tolerant".

Pat Robertson's 700 club preaches Christianity, not Republicanism.

The fact that the counterculture is rabidly hostile to religion, and that the POP is ruled by said counterculture, means that not only are they going to ruffle leftists' feathers, but that in some cases they confuse their own secular positions (on abortion, for example) for religious issues.

I've yet to see any evidence that either Sharpton or Jackson has ever preached anything other than neocom politics.

Wrong.

Most people are only hostile to religion when it's being forced down their throats. If you are against homosexuality, abortions, and dignified deaths, then don't participate in such activities. When you legislate your beliefs on others is when people get testy.

But go ahead & continue to melt that the world is against you.

I wasn't refering to the majority, just the rabid kooks who run the POP.

And it is the left legislating their exremist beliefs from the bench.

16 out of the last 24 years the GOP has appointed judges.

But it's the "left" legislating from the bench?

Better up your dosage bud.
