You want something impressive? Do you think she'll eat lamb? Get a boneless leg of lamb, make a marinade out of extra virgin olive oil, fresh minced rosemary, lots of fresh minced garlic, a couple dashes of thyme, salt and pepper. Coat the whole thing with the marinade and let it sit for about an ho...

Recipe #2. You can use this with any or all chicken pieces. Place chicken pieces with skin side up in glass baking dish. Season, in this order, with your favorite seasoned salt product, dried minced garlic, Kraft grated parmesan cheese. Bake in 400 degree oven for 60 minutes. The aroma will drive yo...

Put three chicken breasts, with bones and skin still on, skin side up in a corningware dish (or other coverable microwave safe dish). Season with Lawry's Seasoned salt. Microwave covered for 18 minutes, let sit covered for 6 minutes. Serve with rice and steamed brocolli. You will have a bunch of tas...

Any audiophiles out there?

I have a Denon PRA 1100 preamp playing through a Denon POA 2200 amplifier. I bought both of them new in 1986. The preamp seems to be finally biting the dust, or it seems like the balance control is anyway. Right now I'm only getting sound out of the left channel. When I turn the balance control or e...

Mikey, I guess you saw that on your own. To clarify, I'll eat some chains, but as a fairly good cook I have a hard time shelling out $60 bucks for the family to eat breadsticks and salad and some penne pasta with cream sauce. I'll drop $200 without blinking if I know the quality of food and service...

Shellfish skewers

Fixed these last night because I had gotten some nice sea scallops at Costco.
