If only half of the players that have already said they would like to play for the Leafs actually do sign with them... Fergie's going to be busy handing out those buyout cheques and saying adios to more than a couple of RFA's. O'Neill Niedermayer Glen Murray Lindros Allison Selanne and of course, c...

was there this much talk about texas losing in the Holiday bowl the year before last? and to an also ran in the Pac 10? The Holiday bowl for some reason always seems to have a team playing in it that is pissed that they are there, and then that team gets smacked. Cal was a good team last year, they ...

teams outside the top 64 would have a chance to play their way in to the top 64 every season, and those in the top 64 are not guaranteed that they will alwys be there. One bad season could land a program in the lower division, any type of NCAA sanctions that would now result in a ban from bowl games...

the Holtz teams at ND did get in to the rumbles outside the locker rooms though. Im sure the people at Notre Dame didnt look too fondly on that, the first one was vs Miami and was likely over looked cause Miami fought everyone but they had another incident with USC that appeared tobe caused by the s...

8 12 team conferences is still too many teams. Are you going to have 11 game regular seasons? that will give teams unequal amounts of home and road games, you go to a 12 game season and now 4 rounds of playoffs gives you 16 games, thats too many. What works about the 8 team conferences is everyone p...

Terrys conferences has a few teams who are not in the top 64, those not in the top 64 play in the lower division and would have to earn their way in to the upper division. I would rather see those kinds of games than Auburn at home vs the Citadel, let Auburn play Miami; Georgia; Florida State; LSU; ...

If maximizing Crosby's earning potential is his end game, then he will probably want to play in TO, NYR, Colorado, Det maybe even LA or Montreal. So if Buffalo or Atlanta for example win the first pick in the draft, I would expect to hear the Crosby camp say he will head to Europe unless his rights...

UCLA didnt give up 55 to the Trojans, course UCLA's last game out they lost to North Dakota or someone. Kiper was trying to get a rise out of people, everyone usually picks games the same way (just look how everyone picked OU big in the Orange bowl last year, except Corso) Mel was just going a direc...

what other colleges in Southern Florida are competitve in baseball..... within 20 miles of USC there is UCLA, Cal St Fullerton, Long Beach State and Pepperdine. Within 20 miles of Miami there is......? You can either argue just for the sake of arguing or admit that 11 scholarships is far from enough...

Miami won 2 in 3 years, Rice has won one title ever, Stanford hasn't won a title since 1988 and Pepperdine has won one title ever and that was 13 years ago. also Rice is about 21k, Miami is about 29k which is still lower than the cost to go to USC (33k for tuition). Stanford and Pepperdine are both ...

Title ix has all but killed off not just USC baseball, but baseball at all private schools. The Trojans can not compete locally when they are only allowed 11 scholarships. A player can go to Fullerton on a quarter scholarship and have his parents only worry about paying 1600 dollars for the entire s...

congrats, now youre only 6 behind USC Like to see Garrido come home to Southern California and coach the USC Trojans, well that and the NCAA stop this ridiculous scholarship limit of 11 for a baseball program. Give baseball 25 scholarships to work with, 11 schollarships would be like allowing a coll...

I would say that Carrol...
