In order: 4. Oklahoma. This board seems to think that this program is God's gift to college football. And why they revere a coach who got the program put on probation not once, but twice, is completely beyond me. Once . He took over during probation but it was not from his administration as HC that...

OU: The list pretty much starts and ends there. Their fans are so arrogant. They have the same reaction as Texas fans when they lose. It gets one sided when 1 school wins all the time. I still remeber 97,98, and 99 watching all their fans talk shit and then walk out and not utter a word. I also rem...

Five years ago no. Now, definatly. The college game has changed dramatically since I was younger.Left Seater wrote:Uh, Rog, check the 2002 and 2003 National champs.
Both Texas and RICE won those titles because of pitching and defense. I still think good pitching trumps good defense even with metal bats.

THE CATCH!!!
I don't expect that many of you caught the Oklahoma @ Witchita State game on ESPN2 last evenning but at any rate... Growing up the greatest catch I can remember was Bo Jackson's little ditty up the CF wall in Kansas City snagging the home run ball. That was topped last night in the second inning (if...

Suncoaster, not looking to enter a pissing contest with you but I am curious. What is it you don't like. I love the arch. The bricks, the jumbo tron and the athletic clubterrace. They take more into account than just aesthetics. I noticed what they took into account. Atmosphere, History, Tradition, and Arch (architecture). For anyone that hasn't been to Memorial field since 2002 then I can assure you that you would be hard pressed to find a stadium that conforms to the surr...

Talk about a test of wills last night!!! It took over an hour just to get through the first inning. Games started at 6:45 and it lasted until damn near midnight. OU simply outscored them in a duel between bats. The final score was somthing like 20-10.

What are you looking for on them. I can reccommend a number of works to you on their order but it would be more helpful for what it is about them that you are looking into.
