The return of Ratpack_incognito. Great! Thank God he'll disappear again when the Capitals don't win another game until Christmas. Got to give you credit, I thought you'd go back to being a Penguins fan when they drafted Crosby.

Patrice Bergeron will be better than either one of them.

Welcome back Rat, nice to see your opening night enthusiasm is still strong. It will amusing as usual to see you fade away as the Caps do likewise.

Why would I disappear? I have no expectations of anything other than Ovechkin dismantling people. Maniac will up and go..and sulk. We remember..

Did you clowns read the game write up?
His first NHL check was so fierce it dislodged a support beam. He refused to let his team lose, twice answering with goals less than 90 seconds after the opponents took the lead. And when his face appeared on the large scoreboard, he stuck out his tongue and flashed a charismatic smile.

``He was worth the admission tonight,'' Columbus coach Gerard Gallant said. ``He was real good.''

``The first check he threw to start the game, I said, 'That's my boy. That's what we want''' said Capitals owner Diamond Ted

I don't know, why don't you tell me? You've done it every time the Caps stunk up the joint, which is pretty much every year. We remember.....

Enjoy your boy Ovenkitchen. Believe me, he will be the only bright spot on the Caps this season.

Oh I don't know. I'm liking Zubrus. You'd take him in a heartbeat. How about Olie with 35 saves...

How did Boston do in their home opener?

Maniac, you disappeared...don't deny it.

Anytime I've been forced to leave the board is usually because of my vast importance outside in the real world. Sometimes I just don't have the time for throwing fish flakes at the goldfish. ya know?

Ovenkitchen... Good one. Let's put a burger on...get it? Burger on!
His first NHL check was so fierce it dislodged a support beam.
Yeah, Ovenchicken

Acid drip, please stop embarassing yourself. This kid can hit & fight...and score more than Wilt Chamberlain.

That's the whole point, dullard.

They are always after me..when they do the exact same thing.

At least I explain myself with my huge importance outside in the real world.

...and what is up with the incognito references you've been dropping for over a year?

Why all the hating on the Capitals? :?

From reading these posts you'd think the Caps were the evil empire of the NHL or something. Queef and Ruinfan running smack on us, yeah that's fresh considering the Caps have been to the finals more recently than either of those garbage teams.

Relax. This is more of a "bust on Rat" thing more than a Caps hating thing. Goes way back over the last 4-5 years.

Rat Pack actually entertains the shit out of me, especially when he goes on about his importance in the outside world.

Rat, are you the one that stymied all those Al-Qaeda attacks that Bush was blathering about yesterday? If so, thank you.

Or maybe you've been over in China working on the bird flu thing.

Or did Mom finally kick your sorry ass out of the house and wouldn't let you take her computer with you.

Please tell us more, explain your "vast importance".

To be fair, his obscurity, while seemingly well-timed, could happen when the Caps go down the drain pretty much any time of the hockey year.

Only 5.5 hours until ATG takes the ice in Hotlanta. I see a 2 point game.

That'll give all of you dishwashers time to finish up your shifts.

As for the largesse importance of my real life...it is beyond mere serfs on a messageboard. ...and it has nothing to do with Bush.

Take Happy for instance....we all know that he is a dishwasher at Swiss Chalet. I could delve into the intricacies of my importance and it would fly over his head. He has dishpan hands while I take after King Midas.

excuse me, I must take a call from Antwerp. It's Leonard. We must not keep Leonard waiting..

Oh hi Happy! How was the lunch rush?

I spent lunch chuckling at that sorry ass picture of Sundin's eye. Ouch

I also had chuckles reading about how Lindros said he's going to pick up the slack....seeing as Sundin will be out way past Halloween.

I guess Tie Domi is now the Leafs captain.

Last time the Caps lost by such a large margin was in 1998.

1998 was a very good year.

Sid the Kid gets a 3 point night on Saturday and takes the rookie scoring lead and puts him tied for third in the league in scoring.

Gotta love the scoring around the league. On Saturday, two games finished 7-6, the Thrashers scored 8 and the Habs-Leafs finished 5-4.

Quinn must have been drunk last night. The Leafs have easily the two worst defencemen in the NHL in Aki Berg and Wade Belak and Quinn decides to pair them up. They were only on the ice for three Montreal goals, so I guess it was a good night for those pylons. :x :x

Actually I kind of liked his idea of pairing them up. It creates only one shit pair of defencmen instead of making two bad pairs.

You can blame JF Jr though... he's the one that brought them both back, not Quinn.

No Hap, I think the dishonour of having the two worst defensemen in the NHL goes to Columbus now.

Yeah, the Thrashers scare me--especially with The Dude in net, because he's always owned the 'Canes.

Maniac, you're such a hater. "Reality hits" lmao at you.

Yeah, the reality is he has 5 points in 4 games. ..and are you still going to go with that Ovenkitchen nonsense? Come on, you're better than that weakass kid shit.
