Go out in the country where one can shoot legally with a friend. Set up target stands with 1' dia. disks about 15 feet away. See how accurate you are in hitting them while taking turns shooting at them. THEN have a competition to see who can hit that disk first. Watch how accuracy goes way down as you fling rounds downrange trying to be the first to hit their disk. And after seeing how your accuracy took a dump during that competition understand that you didn't have the additional factor of adrenaline coursing through you from someone trying to kill you.
