Bumper stickers - who's got em?

Post by MgoBlue-LightSpecial »

This board is full of opinionated people. It's also full of mouth-breathing simpletons. Combine those two, and it's likely we've got several rides decked out in "humorous" and "thoughtful" adhesive slogans. Because as we all know, all the world's problems can be boiled down to one-sentence thoughts.

I'm guessing a few NRA decals.
The oh-so clever "NoBama."
For the Dems, maybe a "Jesus was a liberal."

Or maybe you keep it simple with repping your football team.

For trev, I'm guessing the stick figure family on her minivan.

Don't lie. You are gauging the interest for a T1B bumper sticker, right?

If you've ever put anything besides a parking sticker on your vehicle, you are a dork of the proportions that make regular dorks seem almost non-dorky.

I can't exactly get with this. I bought an old truck for the deer lease and I sport a Texas Bow Hunters decal on it. It's small and cool.

Had one of these on my 1963 Dodge Dart GT. Coolest political bumper sticker ever. Never put another one on any of my other rides since.

Too bad the country missed out on a Kennedy vs. Goldwater election. It would have been epic. After the murder of JFK, Goldwater really lost his drive for the election against LBJ. It didn't help that the dems used some truly lousy smear tactics against him. Remember "vote for Goldwater and we'll be in a mess in Viet Nam" ? Well, I did vote for Barry and we were. Somewhere in an alternative universe the USA did not lose over 50K men, the social security system was fixed forever, and the welfare state never happened. Thanks a lot LBJ.

No bumper stickers ever but I had/have a Dale Earnhardt - Intimidator license plate frame proudly displayed on several different cars over the past 15 or so years.

Never any stick figures or bumper stickers. My first car ever, I did put a license plate holder that said "happiness is being single."

Never any "baby on board" or advertising my momhood for my kids' college. No student of the month or any of that nonsense.

My primary ride has one of those chrome plated script "R", displaying my school pride where the dealer normally puts his name. On the back lift gate window lower right side is an NRA sticker. On the front windshield, top centered is a parking credential for local airport staff parking lots. Also on the front windshield drivers side low is a USAA parking decal.

On the Mrs primary ride is a USAA parking sticker, a UT MBA alumni association sticker, an NRA sticker and a Padre Island beach parking pass.

Cut 'spray some slack. He's far more familiar with gas exiting than entering.

Never have sported any bumper stickers that I can recall. I did, however, have a sign in my rear window shortly after my divorce saying "Ex-wife for sale - Take over payments."

Never understood the baby on board signs. Was the purpose to get everyone else to drive better because you have a kid in the car?

That must be why your domestic partner has a 'Lawyer on Board' on the back of his Nissan Leaf.
