1 Corinthians 1:18
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness
As continually promised by God, the one-time blood sacrifice to resolve man's 3 fundamental problems (sin, separation from God, bondage to satan) was finished once and for all on the cross.
The message of the cross is the greatest message ever -- because the cross event takes man out of the problem he can never resolve on his own.
Know the truth of this.
And don't be swayed, distracted, or irritated by the silly words and behaviors you see from Christians.
While they have come to know and accept the truth, their background is one of deep disbelief, such that they are still entrenched in it.
The strange things they say and do comes out from their deep background of unbelief.
Their words will pass.
The Words of God are eternal and will never pass.
1 Peter 1:25
