I'm pretty sure it has more to do with curbing the scalper market than keeping niner fans out.

Pretty idiotic take there diego

The lamest fanbase outside of Philly.

Wait -- Philly fans know the actual rules of the game.

Let's not forget, these people are so ignorant, they got sued to stop them marketing another team's longtime trademark. And the losers still don't understand why they're such bitches, and keep doing it.

Every time I hear those idiots go into the "12th Man" thing, I assume the game is in College Station, TX.

Hey Seattle -- why not start calling your defensive line "The Iron Curtain"? Or "The Purple People Eaters." Or "The Four Horsemen."

Their bitchness knows no bounds.

Denver is doing the same thing.

Making sure your local fans get first crack at playoff tickets is fine. Thinking new SOP is a plan to "get over" is restaurant quality stupid.

That's ok. I'm sure AdderalHawk fan take comfort in arbitrarily declaring a noise record or some shit

Last time I went to a Niners/Chickens game in Seattle, my friend and I were doing a bit of tailgating. A couple of guys walked by wearing Niners gear. Without a word spoken, the guys at the car next to us got up, ran to intercept, and beat the shit out of the Niner fans, completely unprovoked.

I'd love to say it was an isolated incident, but Chickenfan is known for it. Husky fan is worse.

At a game I didn't attend, my buddy had his Raider gear ripped off his body (again, unprovoked -- blindsided even) at the bar after the game.

Just horrible, horrible fans.

Ya know, with that offsides penalty being only two feet, that was a decent gamble to take.

No doubt. Pick a snap count and go for it -- low risk, high reward.

If (when) the Dodos lose, I 100% guarantee every one of their bitch collective will blame the officiating.

As opposed to Fortywhiner Fan, who will be wailing about how unfair it is that fans at CLink make too much noise...

At least no Fortywhiner fans were lit on fire, unlike the Squealer fan who who was torched by a Charger fan back in '80 or '81.

So that's Shehawk fan's response?

"So what if we did a touchdown celebration over someone's leg getting ripped apart. At least no one was torched"

Philly fan thinks you're fucking pathetic.

Diego, just wondering...

will the day ever come that you'll offer up anything besides "two wrongs make a right"? You're pretty fucking consistent with it, be it politics (you're king of the "but Bush...."), or anything else.

And your video "proves" nothing. The feud goes back to a charity game last summer, where there was animosity between the two... and eyewitness accounts claim Sherman's version of the events is a lie, and he in fact was a jackass and tried to start a brawl.

There's a story making the rounds about a confrontation Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman had last year with 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree.

The fuss took place after a charity softball game hosted last April by Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Sherman has since cited it as a catalyst for his fire-and-brimstone postgame rant toward Crabtree following Sunday night's NFC championship game.

According to the story, which was first reported by the Seattle Times, Crabtree tried to fight Sherman after Sherman approached him to shake his hand. At least that's what Sherman's brother, Branton, told the Times.

But a source who was at the Fitzgerald charity event—and who has no familial or professional relationship to Sherman or Crabtree—witnessed part of what happened and said it looked more like it was the other way around.

"The handshake part is legit," the source said, "but it was Sherman who tried to start the fight with Crabtree. I remember 'cause Sherman kept getting in his face and Crabtree was just laughing about it."

The incident took place at the charity game's after-party at the W. hotel in Scottsdale, Ariz.

"It goes back to something he said to me this offseason in Arizona, but you’d have to ask him about that," Sherman wrote Monday in his weekly column for the MMQB.

That's more or less what Sherman also told Michael Silver of NFL.com:

"Sherman wouldn't share specifics, saying only that '(Crabtree) said something to me, and I told him I'd make him pay for it on the field.'"

The source isn't sure what was said to trigger the kerfuffle—or who had said what. Whatever may have started it, the source said, Sherman was the one who was visibly angry that night.

"I can't shed a ton on it because I didn't hear any of it," the source said. "I actually like Richard and he was a real nice dude at the event and the game. I can only say it appeared from body language that Sherman was the instigator in it, not Crabtree."

When one remains silent regarding the first transgression, they are condoning a second offense. Otherwise one is a hypocrite.
