The world as we know it ---> will end.
Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Supplemental to this purpose (the Gospel being preached to all nations), God, Who is sovereign over all, moves the world.
There are many millions of people on the planet who have not heard the Gospel.
And many millions before them have gone to their graves having never heard the Gospel.
If you are reading the Gospel message in here, you are truly a blessed individual.
God has touched you with His eternal Word and this means He is calling you.
There are places on the earth where the Gospel is fresh and people who are hearing it for the first time are dramatically moved and changed by it.
And the Word movement takes place much as it did in the early Church -- as recorded in the Book of Acts.
The situation in Europe and America tends to be different.
Many (most?) people have heard something of the Gospel, or have heard some version of it - and they have, in many cases, already formed some opinion of it in their mind.
Despite having a high standard of living, I consider such places to be among the most afflicted in the world.
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
