SEC ballsucking homers
The two Tennessee AP voters, Mike Ceide & Maurice Patton still have the slUTs ranked in the top 25.....and UCLA nowhere.....how do polls work again?

Maybe they voted before the game was played.

they could've also waited for usc to beat osu before anointing them #1. what's changed from the summer when georgia was all the rage to now aside from them scrimmaging against teams with much less talent? The Seer wrote:That would add a ton of credibility to their votes.....

I think USC deserves the 1 spot. Georgia looked OK vs a D1AA school at home. USC looked dominant, going on the road out east to a BCS school (a team that was 9-4 last year) and laid a whooping on them. They should be rewarded for that.

I agree with that wholeheartedly. You can't fault USC because they will play any team and they do play a pretty tough OOC each season. @UVA, Ohio State, and @ND is an OOC that you wouldn't see many other BCS teams play, if any.MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:I think USC deserves the 1 spot. Re: SEC ballsucking homers
Jumping teams that won sets a bad precedent for this season. Who cares who beat whom? Both teams won, the schedule will bare it all out. If Georgia runs the SEC table they will end up at #1 anyway so why jump them before they lose? Makes no sense exept for PD pointing out that the networks want a 1-2 matchup.MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:I think USC deserves the 1 spot. Georgia looked OK vs a D1AA school at home.
