Yeah, I don't kick people out of the pool if they miss a week or only participate in just a few weeks out of the season. You're obviously in a disadvantage if you want to make the playoffs and you miss a few weeks but I don't take points away from anyone nor do I remove them from the pool if they don't play every week. Play whenever you want...sorry to hear about your computer problems though.

OK, you may not kick anyone out but what about the divisions that really only have 3-4 players participating? Your chances of making the playoffs for this are a lot better when you are only competing against 3 other guys.

Perhaps you mentioned before what your plan was (wild carding or something) and I missed it. If so disregard this post.

Cheers

That's the thing with drawing the divisions at random...you never know what combination of players you'll get. The Campbell Conference is the more active of the two conferences. I still plan on taking the top 8 from each conference I might do something different and have the last week or two of the regular season be included in our playoffs. It's kind of similar to the TNC with what I did and what Prototype is doing. I'd hope by the end of the season, we'll have 8 active players at least from each conference so we can have a competitive playoffs. If participation goes down by the end of the year, by might still go with the top 8 from each conference but go with a group competition instead of head-to-head so no one gets a free pass to the next round. We'll see how things progress.
