Nuh-uh.
No, you DID NOT!
Uhm, you brought out a 15 year old glass fucking dick, from a band that...oh, I dunno...from a band I was listening to when they were making albums like Texas Flood and Couldn't Stand The Weather, and I'M the dumbass?
You DID NOT just go there...dumbass. Just because YOU discovered a new tune (and a good one, at that), doesn't mean the rest of the world shares in your ignorance.

See Mr Dick....you might want to focus your energy on the real dumbfuck here, rather than the guy who has forgotten more about SRV than you'll ever know.Bizzarofelice wrote:srv = crap
Although you might want to step up your scathing retorts, and make some sort of literary upgrade from a couple of smilies...dumbfuck.

Agreed. A little commentary to go with it, more than "it's about alcoholism" might go a ways towards showing some intelligence, maybe other songs from SRV or similar genres that it brings to mind, but I guess that was a little too much to ask.King Crimson wrote:If Moby is getting it on with a cut, no reason to be dick about it.
I believe a good percentage of the posters here were in freaking high school when SRV was doing his damage, so for some neophyte to come in and say "hey, SRV kicks ass," and leave it at that...well, it don't make him look like the brightest guy.
I'm happy for the young'un discovering great music from the past. It's quite refreshing that he isn't pimping 50 Cent or any other heinous excuse for "music" these days. Now, if he could just mix in a little brains, it might even restore some faith in the younger crowd.
