Mornin' Folks!

Post by Go Coogs' »

I was sitting here lurking Facebook, T1B, rivals, and a few other boards as I haven't had a day off in a while...well multiple days off in a while. So, I'm sitting here on my back porch drinking my coffee...

Image

...and can clearly I see that most of you just can't break away from the tired political chatter, so let's see if we can change it up a little bit.

I have questions for you to answer:

1) What did you do this summer?
2) What was you favorite thing you ever did as a kid during the summer?
3) For you T1Bers with the grown up kids, do you miss this time of year sending your kids off for the first day of school?
4) What is it you look forward to the most for the Fall?
5) Where do you want to go on vacation before you die? Money is no object.

I'll answer my questions later.

1) What did you do this summer?

BANGED HOT CHICKS, WORKED, SLEPT, BANGED HOT RUSSIAN CHICKS!

2) What was you favorite thing you ever did as a kid during the summer?

Golfed and won junior club championships at the country club. Go to our summer cabin in Northern Wisconsin to swim, fish, and be around 100 percent White people.

3) For you T1Bers with the grown up kids, do you miss this time of year sending your kids off for the first day of school?

No kids for Pickle. I wanted the freedom to do whatever I want whenever I want and you can't do that with kids. LIVE FREE OR DIE is my motto!

4) What is it you look forward to the most for the Fall?

Fall is bittersweet because it's the end of summer and winter is just around the corner, but Football Saturdays in Madison Wisconsin are the best days of the year.

5) Where do you want to go on vacation before you die? Money is no object.

The Greek Islands, Capri, Ibiza. Before the MOOSLIM invasion I wanted to go to Sweden, Amsterdam, Nice, Paris....but those countries are all now Islamistan. If I wanted to see a million sandniqqers I'd go to Iraq or North Afreeca.

My 2¢ worth on the topics at hand:
1) This summer like the past 14 summers since we moved here---keeping the sub tropical rain forest from growing on my property.

2) Fun summer activity as a kid---camping, playing baseball, and swimming. As an aside, the best summer EVER was the year after I graduated from college and before I began my teaching career and getting married. Worked as Maintenance Director at the Syracuse Boy Scout camp near Tupper Lake NY. The American Legion had a camp nearby that had several young women working there. That along with the nurses from hospital in Tupper Lake provided me with plenty of "action" that summer. Great memories.

3) I do not miss sending kids to school. Remember that I was a school teacher.

4) Fall here means cooler temperatures. That with diminishing sunlight slows the growth of that sub tropical rain forest.

5) I really do not wish to travel anywhere special in my waning years. I know MrsO would love to go to Ireland and visit an old friend there. That would work.

1) What did you do this summer?
More home re-no, lots of organizing and getting rid of stuff. It's funny the things you no longer need after the kids move out. Re-no? Patio/yard, 2 bedrooms.
2) What was you favorite thing you ever did as a kid during the summer?
Just hanging out and running around with all the neighbor kids. swimming, games, bike riding. walking to the candy store, we felt like we were so mature.
3) For you T1Bers with the grown up kids, do you miss this time of year sending your kids off for the first day of school?
NO.
4) What is it you look forward to the most for the Fall? Pumpkins and cool nights, NFL
5) Where do you want to go on vacation before you die? Money is no object
I would get a charming rental house in Charleston or Savanah for a month.

Then take her there you cheap SOB. You should go right now as the weather in Ireland beats the fukk out of SWFLA for about 2 months a year and we are on the tail end of that two months. Don't worry about the subtropic jungle. You can beat it back when you return. Better pack plenty of beast lite though. I seriously doubt you'll find it anywhere in Ireland. They take drinking serious over there.

All good stuff so far.

1) I worked all summer, so my summer is delayed until October where me and the Mrs. are headed to the DR for 7 days at an all-inclusive resort stay.

2) Going with my grandma up to the lake house. It was just me and her and we enjoyed each others company. Best summer ever.

3) N/A

4) The cooler weather and football

5) Dins and BSmack already touched on it. I'd love to take a 45 day excursion in an RV from Houston all the way to the west side of Vancouver Island and stopping by Lake Powell, Grand Canyon, Vegas, Tahoe, Oregon coast, Olympic National park along the way. Want to do that while I'm still relatively young.

Wisconsin's first game of the season won't be in Madison, but Lambeau Field isn’t that far away. And if you can't be there in person then you surely can watch the game on tv.

Also be sure to get your picks in for the T1B CFB Pickem.
Thanks Bud!

It's going to be a GREAT Game! We lost our defensive cooridinator to LSU....and he was GREAT! So I'm worried about the D stopping the Tigers. I'll be watching on Television, maybe we can chat during the game. I called you back in 2005'ish. If you want give me your digits via PM and I'll call you at halftime!

Actually, Chip loves me. He gave me his number back in 2005'ish and we had a nice conversation. He was happy to hear from me. I think he was cooking at the time so our conversation was only a few minutes. I called him because I wanted him to know that I am a real person and not a troll.

) What did you do this summer?

Worked, did house projects, you know, the norm.

2) What was you favorite thing you ever did as a kid during the summer?

Visit family and see new sites.

3) For you T1Bers with the grown up kids, do you miss this time of year sending your kids off for the first day of school?

Yes, but the wife drives them to school now so I don't worry about the bus. Besides we are out in the country, the nearest bus stop for school is 5 miles away. Going to Catholic School, you have to make amends on some things you have to give up, but better education is not one of them.

4) What is it you look forward to the most for the Fall?

Wife gets off her ass and quit volunteering for shit and get a part time job just so I don't have to listen to her talk my ear off when I get home about the day she had gossiping on SnapChat and Facebook.

5) Where do you want to go on vacation before you die? Money is no object.

Since I been and lived all over the world already except two places, I would say Australia and New Zealand, the only continent outside of Antarctica I never been.

I doubt the fly over the South Pole. Maybe on the Brisbane to Buenos Aries route?

To be fair to Pop I don't think he has ever argued that commercial flights don't cross (near) the North Pole on a multiple times a day basis. His arguement is that South Pole flights can't happen. He completely ignores that Pan Am and Qantas have flown flights over the South Pole numerous times or deflects and says he isn't ready to discuss nonstop flight between continents in the Southern Hemisphere.
