Here's an idea I would have dismissed out of hand only a couple months ago, but suddenly makes sense for the properly worried Lady Macbeth with a strap-on:

Hillary will choose Sanders for her veep. Yep, she knows that she could easily lose the base support of the progressive electorate--and Bernie has been maintaining and gaining quite well in this solid segment of voters who actually vote. It would be a risk, Bernie being a "socialist" and all--a charge which may as well be a "bolshevik" as far as the GOP and mainstream media is concerned. But if as it appears, Trump (with Halley from S. Carolina) is to be the nominee of the GOP contagion, it may be a risk worth taking--that could win.

Can she control Sanders? I would have to think that would be her first criteria. She is a stone cold sociopath with no other agenda beyond accumulating wealth and power. Besides Cheney, there's never been a veep who dared step out of the little box configured by the constitution. If it is the Donald, I think he will stomp hillary. Also, I think you will find that he will have a surprising level of support amount balck folk. Some of them are finally coming to the realization that the democratic plantation ain't helping them, even when it's massa is one of them. If Hillary gets the nomination, her best choice would be Sherrod Brown. He's from Ohio and he's attractive to progressives. Next best would be Julian Castro, formerly mayor of San Antonio and now HUD Secretary.

Brown should be president, but knowing as much he wouldn't come close to the utterly unelectable Hillary. Or as Mick Jagger once said of Maggie Trudeau, "I wouldn't touch her with a barge pole." Julian Castro would seem a possible veep, but for the "Castro" name--the dictator, not the Cleveland kidnap multi-rapist bass player..
