This. That was my brief experience with them as well.

Most of the prisoners at Gitmo were turned in for bounties. The rest have not been charged and have not received any trial or due process. As with Bin Laden himself there has never been any evidence presented that he had anything to do with 9/11 at all.

As for the American invasion and destruction of Iraq, this was fomented not merely with false intelligence, but after carefully muzzling the accurate intelligence. Of course Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 or any connections with Al Qaida, and the American invasion stands plainly as one of the greatest war crimes in history.

The film American Sniper is pure simplistic gung ho "boo ya!" propaganda which doesn't even attempt to explain anything as far as why we invaded. It's just the straight from Savage Nation or Hannity theme of "get them there before they come here." Absolute bullshit and a thorough disgrace. As for The Legend getting gunned down at a shooting range, well, if you play with guns, bad things can happen.
