where Christ is absent.
1 Corinthians 4:4-5
[4] in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
[5] For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
He is the god of this world and is not overcome by anything other than -----> Christ.
It must be Christ.
Apply other methods for your life and it brings delight to satan.
You can have what appears to be success for some period of time, but will ultimately suffer and die in a very pathetic way.
And that might be okay if it was the end of it.
But it isn't.
Because you are created in God's image as a spiritual and eternal being, your failure and discord apart from God goes on for all eternity.
And even further beyond that, the spiritual problems you have are passed down to your offspring.
They will suffer in the same manner as you did.
It must be Christ, and it is what the Bible emphasizes.
Look at the Scriptures on your own time:
Genesis 3:15 - The first promise to man, separated from God and held by satan, of the coming Savior. He would not be an offspring of Adam, in whom the corruption of all mankind began.
Isaiah 7:14 - He will come from the virgin -- the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15.
Genesis 6:14 - Certain destruction, unless and until you enter the Ark, which is a shadow of Christ. In the Ark, you are safely with God.
Exodus 3:18 - Enslaved in Egypt (the world, with satan on the throne), but paint the blood (Christ) and you come out safely, and are with God. Do anything other than paint the blood, and guess what? Fail.
Matthew 16:16 - Jesus, you are the Christ.
