Hardon? Because I said they'd beat the perennial playoff-choking Falcons at home? I don't like to pick straight chalk, so consider this my token upset special. And because the Giants are getting hot at the right time, and have made a run before.

Fuck off.

NO/SF- Saints have looked unstoppable lately but the 49ers are underrated and I like them to stuff the Saints' run and actually pressure Brees and not let that line give him the time he had vs. Detroit. Big game for the 49ers on the ground and forcing some turnovers, and the Saints don't have the defense to scare SF into fukking up on offense. 49ers 22, Saints 21.

DE/NE- I've been saying all year that the Patriots defense fucking sucks. It's going to be freezing as balls Saturday night, and back in the early 2000s that was perfect weather for the Patriots for the division game because they'd work your ass off with Smith or Dillon and Faulk and make badass plays on D with Law and McGinest. Now, this shit doesn't work to their favor. I know Brady still kicks ass in cold weather but the Broncos are going to get to his ass and piss him off and he'll melt down some. Then the Broncos will move the ball well against this shit defense that can't stop the run. Broncos 26, Patriots 24.

NYG/GB- Too many people are going with the Giants which really cracks me up. The Packers are just biding time and waiting for the fraud Giants to show up so that they can polax these bitches. Packers 42, Giants 19.

HOU/BAL- this is the easiest pick of the week. I like the Ravens at home against the upstart Texans who do have some guts this year but the Ravens are awesome. Baltimore 30, Houston 20.

Not sure why everybody likes the Saints so much in this game.

Saints are 5-3 on the road. Niners are 7-1 at home.

Saints are 3-2 on grass and 3-2 outdoors. Niners are 9-2 on grass, 11-2 outdoors.

Alex Smith has a better QB rating this season than Brees does both outdoors and on grass. Not saying that the Niners have an advantage at QB but a lot of Brees' awesomeness gets left at the Superdome.

You might be right. The fact it's at San Fran makes it an intriguing match-up. I think NO will elevate their game beyond those stats you mentioned, given the situation. Not to say SF won't, but they're an enigma to me due to their lack of playoff experience.

Straight up

New Orleans
New England
Baltimore
Green Bay

Against the spread

San Fran +4
Denver +14
Houston +9
NY +9

btw I'm not betting any of these games-anything over a touchdown point spread is a disaster waiting to happen

San Francisco is a pretty good defense coupled with a "never know what you'll get" offense....Brees is on a fucking roll, the only thing that might stop him is the winds of San Fran

New England should roll, but this isn't the same Bronco team they played a few weeks back....so long as Denver doesn't turn the ball over three times within the last 5 minutes of the second quarter, they should keep it close

Houston gets the "nobody is expecting much from you Focker" award for making it this far....Arian Foster is a great RB and Yates has been a serviceable replacement-Flacco is serviceable as well, but Rice is Bmores' offense.....against that Raven D, all I can say is best of luck Texans, you're going to need it

Giants-nice team, average offense, good defense but I think the Packers are going to draw them into a shootout and nobody does that better than Rodgers-besides, Green Bay at home is about as tough as it gets
get out, get out while there's still time

If Graham is already done for the day, and if Pierre Thomas sustained a concussion from that obvious helmet-to-helmet hit that caused him to fumble at the one-yard line, this game may already be decided. Minus those two guys, the San Francisco defense is going to tee off.

Definitely looking shaky for New Orleans. They waste a long drive, fumbling at the one, then force a rare fumble by San Francisco on their own thirty, but fail to cover it.

Yep, this could be a long day for the Saints.

17-7 - still a long way to go. Niners lead the league in both takeaways and fewest turnovers.

That was a helluva catch on the pick, but at least that one really just worked out the same as a long punt.

Hard to imagine that the Saints could still be in this thing while losing the turnover battle 0-4, yet here they are.

Since the Packers don't turn the ball over much, it's hard to envision the 49ers going into Lambeau in January and coming out with a win.

Then again...fumble 49ers...they may not have to worry about it.

Why does the Niners offense always seem utterly unprepared every time it's third-and-long and the Saints send a blitz? It's what they do. It's all they ever do. It's the only way the Saints can ever manage a pass rush.

Aaaaaaand... another Saints fumble, this time on a punt return. Christ.

Colston has to make that TD catch. He went alligator arms on a perfectly thrown ball.

Great receiver, who nevertheless drops way too passes. That one could really end up coming back to haunt the Saints.

Easy to say when you watch the replay in slow motion. Not so easy to do when you have the FS getting ready to light you up.

But, if you're going to get lit up anyway, yeah, might as well make the catch.

Jesus, and now Patrick Robinson drops a cripple of a pick, well in 49ers territory.

It's amazing that the Saints are still in this game. They're not making any plays, except for mistakes. If San Francisco had any sort of any offense, this one would be a blowout.

Saints finally pull ahead, but with a ton of time on the clock. This one feels like a David Akers FG for the win.

If the 49ers lose this one despite a 5-1 edge in turnovers plus all those other Saints mistakes, wooo, that'd be a bitch to swallow.

And there it is, the big play to put the 49ers in FG position.

Just don't score too quickly, Niners.
