I've been anything but bored. It's like two great heavyweights heading into the 15th round. This is football the way it's supposed to be played, and the loser is likely to be in the NC game if the other undefeated teams go down.

Agreed Mace...ebb and flow.

It feels more like watching Tex Cobb fight Tex Cobb than say an Ali vs.Frazier fight. No creativity whatsoever. That said, LSU is screwed. Their MVP can't play in OT as he is their punter.

Of course LSU's other MVP is the Bama kickers.

I said before the game that LSU was the ballsier team and would therefore win if it was close. I guess that means I think they're going to win this thing now.

And a miss by Bama's kicker. All the skill of a 1987 replacement player game in the NFL.

Okay, since this now appears a fait accompli that LSU will win, ponder this scenario: Arkansas beats LSU, leaving the SEC West in a three-way tie with each team having beaten the other. Who goes to the SEC title game and who gets the runner-up Sugar Bowl nod?

Here's another scenario. Alabama blocks what would be the game winning FG and returns it for a TD. Okay, probably not.

Thank god that awful SEC shitfest is over. Can't believe I was sucked into watching that crap. Could have went upstairs to watch Selina with my wife. Goddamn, I gave up watching hot latin bitches on the tube in favor of crying drunken rednecks tormented by a horrid field goal fest. Gonna be a long night down there in Bama. Those people probably havent felt this dejected since that surrender a few years back at a little place called Appomattox.

If it's well-played and not full of penalties. Like tonight. I caught only the fourth quarter and then watched as an AWESOME defensive battle got spoiled by the pussy NCAA overtime rules. Just as we were enjoying watching these teams play field position, push each other back towards their own end zone and punt, college football proves once again what a joke it is by ripping away special teams and lining up these two teams at the 25. :meds:

This game was the ultimate example of why college football sucks.

KC, so what would constitute a "defensive classic" for you? Do you really doubt that these two offenses would have any difficulty in scoring against just about any other defense in the country? They sure haven't so far. Come bowl season, you know they're going to put up major points no matter the opponent.

That is not a "defensive classic". That was 2 very good defenses and 2 piss fucking poor offenses with one so bad they can't nail a FG with the game on the line with how many tries? And none of those attempts were even close. My lips are so sore from the Trent Richardson cock sucking fest the announcers were trying to get me to participate in.

I just can't believe that there aren't two better teams in college football than those two squads. That was nothing more than piss poor execution and shitty play calling. Seriously, can anybody name ONE time when a receiver came up with a catchable ball in traffic? Both teams faked the reverse only two send the ball into the maw of a clearly overpursuing defense more times than I could count.

Here's my 3 stars of the game

1. LSU punter
2. LSU kicker
3. LSU holder

Real great game.

01/03/07 No.11 Notre Dame - Sugar Bowl (7:00 pm) Won 41-14
12/30/05 No.9 Miami - Chick-fil-A Bowl (6:30 pm) Won 40-3

You mean other than the sold out in perpetuity Heinz Field crowd? Or the millions of people who will make the game the most watched sporting event of the weekend? Or maybe the tens of thousands who will gather all over the country to watch the game in bars and at tailgates hundreds and sometimes THOUSANDS of miles away from the game?

Yea, watching the best athletes in the sport compete and execute at the highest level really sucks.
