One of the best fucking shots I've seen yet of this band.

People. I find it difficult to describe how refreshing it is to have guys still around like Rush. When you think of the complete bullshit out there today, I hope they NEVER want to quit. And when they do, please, God; make sure they announce it first; so we can be sure to go out and enjoy this last great Rock band, for one last tour. It will be hard to ever match this group of friends.

Hope you all enjoyed the shots.

Powerwindows is a great site.

Why?
An epic tribute thread to an unbelievably good band?
Lets "Move some Pictures" ??
And leave stupid ass threads on pg one, about the Blow job from ones Mom. Or more Schiavo bullshit. Or even some dead Pope guy.

Link us all to your great contributions to the site, assmunch.

The guy who painted this (Fly By Night) original cover art, also did four covers for Kiss.

if u are a fan of music, there is nothing to hate about rush

dislike the music, sure
object to lyrical content, ok
crunge when geddy sings, understandable

but they are a shining example of being fantastically successful in an anti-establishment way where they value music craftsmanship over corporate politics, trends, commercialism, and the like........that is what the legion of rushfan knows and respects

What sets them apart from other classic rock groups is their staying power. There are other 70s groups that are still together. Many can be found at state fairs as they have produced absolutely nothing of musical relevence since the Carter administration. The Stones are my favorite example. Although they still get huge gigs, they haven't had a decent song in better than a quarter century. Aparently Keith Richard's last creative brain cell died sometime around '78. He has managed to carry on with about as much brain power as terry shiavo since.
