People in the rest of the country inherently run half a second slow just because they don't go to an SEC school.

Nice job of doing the national anthem coming from what I believe were both teams bands. Now that's how it's done.

Bama going with their bread and butter...Ingram up the middle along with some intermediate length throws from McElroy. The interior line of Florida is getting pushed around so far.

Ingram is your 2009 Heisman Trophy winner frontrunner.

This is shaping up to be a hell of a game.

Which isn't really a surprise.

Go Tide!

I'm pretty sick of hearing about Tebow.

I'm not even sure who I'm rooting for here. I should be rooting for Bama, 'cause of Sam, and because I'm well sick of the Tebow Hype. I'm just wired though to root against Bama, Michigan and Nebraska, and it's always good to see Nick Saban lose.

I just don't know. This is a lose-lose deal.

McElroy looking great today...his first TD pass. Ingram had a great first half and Tebow was solid as well. The big names are showing up today. The chosen one is going to have a helluva time rallying in this one...Bama's offense looks sharp.

If Bama can stick it in for 6 here, I can't see Tebow pulling this out...too big of a lead and as they showed, this is the most points they've given up since the loss to Ole Miss.

Ingram with his third score...his stock is rising. What an epic scoring drive...could be the dagger.

Congrats to Sam, and his dream season. Hiring the right coach really can get it done, sooner rather than later.

At least we won't have to hear any more about Tebow or Florida being the greatest of all time.

Pretty sure this little drama will be played out quite a bit tonight and tomorrow in thousands of Florida trailers...

Dins, I bet you would've gone to the Rose Bowl this year had Mike Bellotti still been the coach. Oregon was just better than anyone else in the league this year.

That thud you heard is the horseshoe falling out of Mr. Tebow's ass...another red zone failure.

Maybe...

Although, just discussed today at work (on Championship Saturday, GRRRRRRRR)...

The year before Bellotti took the helm -- PAC10 Championship, Rose Bowl

The year after Bellotti stepped down -- PAC10 Championship, Rose Bowl

Sure, he won a conf. championship, back in the "muddled BCS days."

But Bellotti never served as HC in the Granddaddy.

Todd--Nice use of the wedding metaphor...the Gators wearing the all-Tebow virgin white gear.

I'm not going to pile on the kid...he wanted that game bad but he just wasn't on the right side this year. Bama flat out whipped their ass.

Colt--it's your serve!

Congrats Sam...great win...

actually thank god Football Jesus can play in the Sugar...I can't stand the fucker...

Bama (gasp) almost plays like some of the old school Big 10 teams...STRONG RUSHING attack, spectacular defense and opportunistic QB play at critical junctures...kind of reminds me of a team who won it in 2002...

anyway congrats again sam...

fucking texas...why did I bet them -14? Took bama +5.5 on open...had to get greedy...F ME
