Alabama/Iowa St combination may be one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. So fucked up in fact, that all I can do is say "Welcome, Alacyclone".

Oh - and WAR EAGLE. :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x
Why, thank you pops.

Ala,

If you had to bomb one school off the face of the earth (ISU or Bama), which one would it be? Your children's (and grandchildren's) lives are at stake here, by the way.

Oh, and Western Michigan and Fresno St.

Oh, and Western Michigan and Fresno St.
I graduated from Iowa State, so that means more to me as an "Institution". As far as Alabama, I am simply a fan of their sports teams. Additionally, most of the University of Alabama was burned to the ground in the Civil War, so they have shown that they can rebuild from the ashes. Finally, it would be easier for the survivors in Tuscaloosa to mosey on down to Florida than the survivors from Ames. So, buh-bye Alabama!

As for your combo, Ive seen WMU play Iowa State, Iowa State play Kansas State, Kansas State play BYU and BYU play Fresno State.

Four Degrees and point for me...

Chief,

In Goob's defense, any time Whitey gets a rack, it has to be questioned. It's like #8 on the unwritten rules list around here. So I gotta rack him for following the rules.

That's just the way it is in the early stages, as there are 28 teams that I have not seen. Therefore, I am handing out a possible free 28 points to the board. Once the wheat is separated from the chaff, it will be tougher for the board.

so, you are basically asking the board to guess the 28 teams you haven't seen?

No...The goal of the game is to name two teams that I have seen in order for me to connect them in six degrees. However, since there are 28 teams that I have not seen, I give a point to someone who first uses one of those teams instead of simply saying try again. I could just layout the 28 teams that I have not seen, but where is the fun in that? So, name two teams, and I will try to connect them. Hint! Hint! If you want to jump right in to the teams that I have seen, there are only two BCS that I haven't seen in person. So, you are safe choosing two of those teams instead of the rent a wins.

Ala, congrats on leading this BOARD on a virtual reprisal of the Gay Light Brigade.

You're now the Dan Vogle of the CFB forum. Trolls may be started in your everlasting honor.

Myself, I'm thinking of registering at Tigerboard.com... and that thought had never crossed my mind before.

tigerboard is sweet. MU is the best team of all-time or the worst, you figure it out. and they hate everyone. OU cheats, UT doesn't respect them, KU is the DEVIL. MU is the greatest school ever and everyone else cheats.

i love it.

it's like the Texags.com of Missouri...

the truth though is that NIck's tigerboard.com and hornfans.com (pre TJ Ford) were the only decent hoops boards with non-homer traffic in the conference inna day (circa 1999-2001). and i have some respect for that.

Norm Stewart will come back someday and never make the Final Four....and Gary Pinkel sucks or is God.

Johnny was AWESOME! He couldn't win a Big 8 road game to save his life, but he defended Hilton Coliseum and made the "Hilton Magic" happen! I had season tickets during his last few years and the Fred Hoiberg days before I moved from Iowa. Man, I miss ole Johnny stomping his feet and the good ole days! Obviously Tim Floyd and Larry Eustachy were fine coaches and took ISU a little farther down the road, but Johnny created "Hilton Magic"!
