The kid lost his confidence in his shooting well before the Villanova game and hasn't found it since. He's got the tools, but he doesn't have a clue.

Simien is the only one who can keep KU from going one & done, at this point... 3:11 left and trailing by one.

1:08 left and down by 3.

Giddens shaking hands on the sidelines with someone... probably as a goodbye before he transfers to Washburn...

Game over.

Agreed... and Simien's been nails with that turnaround jump-hook all year.

But not this time.

One & done.

That's the reason I didn't play a bracket this year... I couldn't bear to write KU down as a two & bbqjones tourney exit. Never thought they would have lost to Bucknell, though... I figured that we could at least make it to Sunday.

Simien is a great player... will have a great NBA career... and that's sad, because with the sorry state of the NBA nowadays, I can't enjoy watching him play the game anymore.

Langford's injured ankle was huge... that took away our ability to slash & penetrate in the KU trademark up-tempo style.

Moody's injury was responsible for the three game slide vs OU, ISU, and Texas Tech. Moody's presence inside was sorely missed during that slide, and KU had no one to fill the role while he healed.

Giddens... my God, what a fucking disappointment. Ricefelice hit the nail on the head earlier this year when he thought "Giddens was going to be four years of pain for MU fan"... so fucking tragic that he's become soft on defense and weak from three-point range.

Miles... solid season, despite the increase in turnovers down the stretch... just tried to do too much.

The bench depth that everyone thought was there turned out not to be there.

Disappointing end to what should have been a great season.

There are simply not enough RACKs in the world for that statement!

I don't remember the last time I saw Brand, Deng, Hill, or Battier play.

So Kansas fan, still think I'm an idiot for saying that you're not a championship-caliber team?

Langford's ankle didn't keep KU from playing an up tempo game...that high low offense is what keeps them from playing up tempo. They don't set picks they pass around the perimeter and then throw an entry pass to a triple teamed Wayne Simien...makes for a lot of turnovers.

Of course they couldn't throw a ball in the ocean from the beach and that doesn't help.

Seriously though, their offensive system really sucks and is conducive to keeping inferior teams in the game, in my opinion. Hopefully this is a wake-up call.

I'm just thinking that maybe all along, it wasn't RW.

Maybe this IS his year. Glad I picked UNC to win it all in my bracket.

As for Kansas, pisses me off. I picked Simean as the 10th (and last) player in the 1st round of our Fantasy March Madness. That's fucked up my tourney results. Out of 10 people, I am still in 3rd right now with 7 of my 12 players still playing. If Simean was still there, I'd be MONEY right now.
