I just bought it and the expansion pack. Great game!! Is it possible to play online, like Battlefield Vietnam, or can you only play online if you get together with buddies?

Is that real-time or turn-based? I just can't get into the real-time strategy games, but the I dig the turn-based stuff like Civilization and Combat Missions quite a bit.

The new Battlefield games looks to be epic, BTW. Looking forward to it.

It has two different games in it. One is a RTS, and the other is a turn-based scenerio. The fact you can play online is pretty cool.

I can't wait for the new Battlefield! I am extremely bored with the maps in Vietnam now. How come they didn't continue rolling out maps like they did for 1942?

That might be the first video game war that takes longer than the real war to finish.

RoN is a good RTS game. Probably the best on the market right now (IMHO). AOE III is in the works but I'm not liking what the story/time line is looking like right now.

I bought the Axis & Allies Gold edition a couple of years back. It's not stellar. A good time killer. But all you're really doing is playing the board game on your computer.

When I said "Gold" I meant "Iron Blitz". I'm guessing you're talking about the RTS version of Axis & Allies that came out last year. No idea about that version's on-line action.
