How will Domi be remembered?

Post by jiminphilly »

I thought the dude was dirty and, at times was a cheap shot artist but when he played against the Flyers the crowd was always clamoring for a fight which kept the old school hockey flame alive.

Props to him for his longevity and grit. But he does not fit in with the current game anymore.

One of the best if not the best of his era at what the enforcer's role was.
Could also provide a bit of offence.
Solid in the corners and in a checking role.
Great guy in the community.

Time passed him by with the new faster game, much like many others now.

He will be remembered as much better than he was by Leaf fan. Much worse than he was by fans of other teams. And insanely worse than he was by all the idiot Senator fans that wouldn't know toughness if it walked up and punched them in the face.

Liberal MP Belinda Stronach has been named as the other woman in the divorce application filed by the wife of former Maple Leaf Tie Domi.

As reported in the Globe and Mail, Leanne Domi says in the application that she believes Domi and Stronach have been involved in an "intimate sexual relationship'' since he "began working with her on her political campaign in January 2006.''

The Globe reports that Stronach is referred to many times in the 20 pages of documents filed in court this week.
Leanne and Tie Domi have been married for 13 years.

The hockey player's wife is asking for custody of their three children and $15,426 a month for child support.
The document says the amount is based on an annual income of $1 million until such a time as Tie Domi's income can be specifically determined.

She is also asking for $30,000 a month is spousal support.
Wow

Welcome to retirement
