Time to get this bitch rolling
I've been waiting seems like forever for Feb. to roll around and thank gawd it's finally here. The Daytona 500 is less than 3 weeks away and it's time to get our NASCAR pick 'em game fired back up. Hopefully Mac22 will awaken from his mid winter slumber and agree to take on the scoring duties again. Helluva job last year, Mac.
Anyways, same rules as last year except for one change. More to come on that.
The season will be divided into 4 segments:
Segment 1 = Week 1 thru 8
Segment 2 = Week 9 thru 16
Segment 3 = Week 17 thru 25
Segment 4 = The Chase
Pick any 4 drivers for your team during the first segment. No team may have all 4 of the same drivers, so first come first served.
After segment one, and this is the rules change, you must pick 2 drivers from with-in the current top 10 in the points standings, and 2 from out of the top 10. To continue to participate in the contest, you must post your team before each segment even if you have no changes.
Driver points will come directly from NASCAR.com
Any questions?

not much of a mid winter slumber... between officiating HS bball games and working at the UWS M/W bball and hockey games... i usually only get sundays off... and even only half since for whatever reason the women's hockey team plays half of their weekend series sat/sun.

i never really completely disappeared... i've been reading the board all winter, just not really posting, except for the HDC...
and i'm pretty sure i still have my score sheet somewhere...

What happens when you get the multi-billion dollar corporations - Big Tech, Big Pharma, foreign money, etc., able to form collaboration with politicians susceptible to corruption via payouts and power with the media which controls the messaging to the population of the country?
