Saturday Pickem Challenge: Week 5: results/standings

Post by Shine »

A gang of people put up 10 correct picks in the super sized weeks, so props to them all. As far as the overall lead goes, Mook still wears the yellow jersey as he was one of those with 10 correct. Our usual band of 4 who've been missing for weeks now stayed MIA, so I'm dropping them off the list. Skull got off his ass and joined the party, so he'll be added to the list. Again, those with an asterick by their name remain eligible for the 2 point bonus if they play all remaining weeks.

Week 5 results:

Shoalzie- 10
Mook- 10
Shine- 10
helmet- 10
Adelpiero- 10
Mustang- 10
King Crimson- 9
MuchoBulls- 9
the seer- 9
L45B- 8
Arch Angel- 8
Sky- 8
the ou_skull- 8
SunCoast Sooner- 7
Mgo-BlueLight Special- 8
Terry in Crapchester- 6
WolverineSteve- 6

Overall Standings:

Mook- 36
Shoalzie- 33
King Crimson- 33
L45B- 31
Arch Angel- 30
Sky- 30
Terry in Crapchester- 30
Shine- 30
Adelpiero- 29
SunCoast Sooner- 28
helmet- 28
MuchoBulls- 27
Mustang- 27
the seer- 27*
Mgo-BlueLight Special- 26*
WolverineSteve- 20*
the ou_skull- 8*
(and just so you know Skull, your 1 week beat that of PrimeX who posted a 7)

Wow, pretty consistent scores, 6-10 is pretty good. Course, my 8 would feel a whole lot better if it weren't on a super-sized week.

Cool...10 ended up being top score of the week. I counted up my total on Sunday morning and wondered if anyone topped that. I'm coming for ya, Mook!

Made the change. Sorry bout that. Like I said my little girl has been sick so I've been operating on less sleep than usual.

By my count, I edged Mook 9-8 this week...his lead is down to just two points. 8)
