And the wait for a post-loss Babs sighting begins..

Post by WolverineSteve »

RACK Michigan for taking it to State tonight.

Rack Blind for calling his shot.

UNrack Shoalzie for not believing in the Blue.

Rack Mclub, Blind, and myself for being Michigan Fans (sorry if I forgot anyone, not sorry for leaving out Shoalzie) it is a beautiful night to be a Wolverine.

Rack the hoops program turning the corner and doing things the right way. It's been a struggle since we had to bring down the banners of the "Fab 5" era. I wrote on one of these boards way back then about what a dark day it was in UMfan history. Tonight its good to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Brighter days are ahead my friends, we've been to rock bottom. Look out Big10, the Maize and Blue are alive and well!!

And for a rack unprecedented on this board........RACK TOMMIE AMAKER!!

I wasn't aware they had banners hanging for not actually winning anything, not even a conference title. :? :?

As I'm sure other Big 10 fans feel about IU and Mike Davis, I hope that Tommy Amaker is the coach at Michigan for a long, long time.
"Our staff is going to ensure that anyone who attends this University and wears the Indiana uniform will make this privilege among their highest priorities and not treat the opportunity as an entitlement,'' Crean said in a statement. "We fully expect our student-athletes to accept the responsibilities academically, athletically and socially that come with representing one of the top programs in college basketball history."

Shine,
I know you get your rocks off bashing Amaker, alot of folks on that wagon.

The banners were for Final Fours which the 5 got to in both of their years together. They brought the banners down and struck the records from the books. It was a bad time but we're through the worst now.

Go Blue!

Hey, he's the only coach in conference that Mike Davis can beat on a regular basis.

Keep waiting... It's usually more than two or three days. Four or five sounds about right... Depending on when the next time OU loses is. Although, if we can play the way we played tonight (granted, against the now 0-5 Baylor Bears) it may be a while...

I deserve that. I have lost the faith in Michigan basketball...but can you blame me? Heck, their one period of dominance has been marred in contraversy and scandal. I've been a bit of a turncoat for the last 10 years or so...I've been pulling for the Blue Devils because I felt betrayed by Michigan's program and I wanted to get behind a program with some intregity. The Fab 5 were rock stars to me when I was in middle school and I've never forgiven them for their disgrace they brought to Michigan. I was able to overlook the Webber timeout and some of the on court antics but the Ed Martin thing did it for me. I was naive to think they were without fault but to know that I put in my heart and soul to those years and they meant nothing...I haven't rooted for Michigan basketball ever since. You can't call me a bandwagon jumper when you consider I'm still loyal to the Lions and the Tigers and they've given me plenty of reason to jump ship. This incident with the Fab 5 burned me and I couldn't stay loyal to them when all of what they did was a total fraud.

Good win for the block M...nothing better than stickin' it to the Sparties. I won't gloat over the win but it'll be funny to see Babs' spin on this. The only thing the Spartans can hang their hat on is that all 5 of their losses came away from Breslin but they won't be playing tournament games at Breslin in March so they better shape up away from home.

As I recall, the deep tourney run they made last season didn't have them playing any games at Breslin. This is basically the same team we've got here...they'll know how to handle their business on the road.

Yep, but he couldn't get over on me if I was a midget and we were playing leap frog... If OU takes down Texas she may never post again.
Does today officially count as day 2 or day 3 of the wait?

Does it matter...? Until MSU wins again or OU loses, there will be neither hide nor hair... not to mention no mention whatsoever of the disappearance or the reason for it... (ie - the loss)
