Rock Chalk Jayhawk?

Post by War Wagon »

K-freaking shitty State 59
KU Gayhawks 55

In Lawrence, no less.

MU-whahahahahahahaha!!!

BCD, I really hate that you went milk carton on us, 'cause I'm going to luv rubbing this one in. Oh well, I know you'll read it anyways.

Way to set-up Big Monday's border war bozos, ending a 31 game win streak against that shit team from Manhattan, a team that just had their asses handed to them at home by Nebraska.

Self will deny it, but you just know those boys were looking past the Mildcats towards Mizzou on ESPN.

And to think that some of the squawk faithful were whining about how KU should be ranked in the top 25 after spanking Necktucky. Got's news for those myopic dipwads, you're rank alright.

disclaimer: If CU somehow beats the Tigers tonight, this post and poster will self-destruct.
I hate sigs. But I lost a stupid fucking bet because a KC Paul lookalike and his sorry ass team were inferior to the greatness that is the Pittsburg Steelers.

stuck at the in-laws so I didn't get to see the end of the game. Tigers have the ball w/ 7 seconds and Gardner hits a sweat spill on the court. Tough break. We didn't run them hard enough if their three shooters still had legs enough to hit a game ending three. Gotta tire out a perimeter team.

Fucking K St. didn't miss a shot from 5 minutes to 1 minute left to play. Don't know if this is indicative of great accomplishments by the program or a fluke, but Mizzou's usual loss in Manhattan might be ugly (see three years ago).

After further review, just what the HELL is going on here?

MU wins at OU
KSU wins at KU
CU wins at MU

There's been like a rift occur in the space/time continuum and we've been transported to someplace completely unfamiliar.

I'm so confused.

problem with trying to run down CU is they go about 10 deep. CU has a game or two like this every year where they can't miss from beyond the arc--Texas last year comes to mind.

K-State did however miss at least 2 front ends of the one/one in the last minute to keep KU in it. came back from double digits down though.

gotta give Wooly some credit, he did the ONE thing that might save his job.

Sorry gents.....didn't mean to shy away after a loss. What can I say, Kansas is terribly inconsistent and not terribly good, a very bad combination. I can't really figure them out and am not going to invest too much energy trying to do so.

I think some of the freshman have shown improvement since the start of the year and there is hope for the future, but ultimately, if this team wants to be good, they absolutely have to start taking better care of the basketball. They have more careless turnovers in each game than most teams good teams have in two weeks. That isn't going to get it done against decent competition.

I'll watch the game tonight and hope for a KU win, but who the hell knows, these teams are all so inconsistent it is frightening. The Big 12 looks down this year, really down. And by the way WW....any KU fan that thought this team should be ranked, is "optimistic". This team simply does not deserve to be ranked, they have not proven it on the court.

Holy shit, what a game.

Going to overtime, but I'd have expected no less.

This is why they show KU-MU on national TV.

Throw out the records and the rankings, it's almost always an instant classic.

Let's Go Tigers!!!

Not yes but HELL YES!

Rack the Mizzou faithful who attended that game and simply willed that team on to victory. The roof was coming off that place.

That's what I'm talkin' about.

Why was Moody on the court in the last two minutes with a big lead?? It's always important to get your 50% foul shooter on the court as much as possible when the other team will be fouling intentionally. Nice work "Coach" Self.**

I guess Self had more faith in the senior than freshman 1-5.

Jackson looks like he'll be a monster. I hope he gets into a knife fight before Mizzou goes to Lawrence.

I understand why Moody plays. I mean Rush wouldn't even throw the inbounds play to him, almost turning the ball over...why was he playing then.

I do want to acknowledge what a monster Thomas Gardner was tonight. A phenomenal game by him. He was very impressive.

Maybe people from all over the country will send letters of encouragement to Moody a la that Washington kid from Memphis last year.

Oh, wait, he's a goofy Cherokee Parks looking muthafucka with two left feet, so no one cares.

Moody makes Cherokee Parks look like Cary Grant. He looks like technicolor Lurch with a flowbee haircut.
