Well, Oklahoma really screwed the pooch today...
...I'm getting tired of starting this thread.
We couldn't do diddley-poo offensively...
Sorry, wrong sport...
If the Sooners don't learn how to 1) attack a zone, and 2) switch on their backside rotations in their own zone, then we're going to be near the bottom of the Big 12 South when it's all said and done. Right now, the only team that we're playing better than is Baylor, and they're rusty. We're in "mid-season" form, allegedly.
We gave up WAY too many offensive rebounds (or, more specifically, points off of them) last night. We're not a good enough team offensively that we can afford to give away chippies at the other end... Also, Bookout had a VERY uncharacteristic shooting night. Add to that the fact that we were sloppy with the ball, couldn't put a hand in Gardner's face, and got a pretty questionable whistle at the end of the game, and yeah...
...your 2005 Oklahoma Sooners.
[Cue Babs Trying To Run Mouth... at least I show up after losses, you piece of shit. I'm just tired of doing this much showing up...]

You mean that call in the last minute or so when the ball went out of bounds off of OU and the sooner bench jockey batted it back in bounds and the refs gave the ball back to OU?
Yeah, that was pretty questionable.

War Wagon the game was a pitiful display of officating all around. The no call on the blatant travel where the mizzou kid slides across the floor with the ball was just as pitiful as the no call on the out of bounds. Oklahoma did not lose that game because of officiating, if that is what Skull was trying to imply then I disagree with him. The biggest reason we lost is because since Hollis Price and Quannas graduated we haven't had a guard that could hit water falling out of a boat from behind the arc.War Wagon wrote:the_ouskull wrote:...and got a pretty questionable whistle at the end of the game...

Damn you for reminding me of them. The biggest reason we lost is because since Hollis Price and Quannas graduated we haven't had a guard that could hit water falling out of a boat from behind the arc.

How ironic in that I give you less credit than I do the other OU fans.SunCoastSooner wrote:Bace I give you more credit than I do the other Mizzou fans...
So I guess that makes us sorta' even, in a ponderous way.
Please don't send me any more PM's dawg.
I don't play that shit.
I hate sigs. But I lost a stupid fucking bet because a KC Paul lookalike and his sorry ass team were inferior to the greatness that is the Pittsburg Steelers.

We don't suck, this team is very talented, they just have no heart outside of Taj and a pine riding Sophmore Point Guard, but we don't suck.OUMO wrote:I can't believe you said it, and I could not agree more.the_ouskull wrote:

It should have been a jump ball if anything. When two players are rolling on the ground, both with the ball in their hands, it is a jump ball.Bizzarofelice wrote:because Big XII play is rough or because taj didn't touch him?the_ouskull wrote:no, Taj did not foul the shooter at the end.

You say that as if it can't be both... It was a horseshit, ticky tack "foul" at the end of a play that included a travel by the offensive team, and more than likely, a foul by Bookout while the ball was on the floor... To call THAT foul, in that situation, was ridiculous considering everything else, especially the travel, that they passed up on. BUT, that's a loss now, and it's in the past. I'm not dwelling... With this team, I can't afford to dwell.Bizzarofelice wrote:because Big XII play is rough or because taj didn't touch him?the_ouskull wrote:no, Taj did not foul the shooter at the end.
