Anywho -- Seems the boys from Dublin are thousands of votes ahead for the Grammy for Best Album, in a current poll on cnn.com

The Grammys are such a joke. A "Best Album" category that doesn't include the new Nickelback CD is nothing more than a battle for 2nd place.

BTW: Let me just add that if you even spent the time to learn who the Grammy "Album of the Year" nominees are, much less took the time to post a list of said nominees or suggest a poll for "ranking" said nominees, you are a certified cock gobbling homo. What planet are you guys living on? You guys didn't really expect actual good music to get Grammy nods, did you? I mean, if Lateralus coudn't even get a Best Album nod in 02, there's no way in hell Frances the Mute is gonna get any love.

Of the five choices above, I see three acts that have sucked total ass for their entire careers, one band that put out a good album in 1987 and has sucked ever since, and one guy who was in the greatest band of all time and has at least managed to not totally suck in subsequent years. Out of those five, you gotta go with Sir Paul.

That said, I still wouldn't give France the Mute the nod over Deadwing, Robot Hive/Exodus, Guero, or Good Apollo.
