"The Open Championships"--call it...

Post by Felix »

Tiger has got to be the odds on favorite because he was so dominant the last time the open was played at St. Andrews.......

Dark Horse-Darren Clarke

p.s.-Dins, don't be using those special mod powers to change this around--even though this isn't really my "official" pick

Sergio Garcia will drain a long putt on 18 and then do his best Seve on a pogo stick imitation.

I was going have Harrington as my darkhorse until he had to WD due to the death of his father.

As always, I will pick Mickelson and have Thomas Bjorn as my dark horse.

The Open often has a way of bringing out the best in some guy we've hardly ever heard about.

That said, I'll go with Peter Jacobsen.

OK, make it Tiger. As much as I think it'd be bombastic if Jack pulled it off.

my darkhorse pick is Shigeki Maruyama.

i think the guy has a great shot to break through in a major at some point. he's played well and has several top 10's in majors.

Phil Mickleson will lift the Claret Jug, then lift Amy's jugs a wee bit later
For a dark horse, I'll go local. Brad Faxon
