I'll hope for the best and wait for the local arbiter to pass judgment.

Now that rock bottom has been established "Dead!" your post is more than acceptable.

Smart move. Always best to consult an expert on critical matters such as this.

Usually, the rookie mistake that is often made is overthinking it and/or trying too hard to achieve the funnay. Roux's Rick Derringer thread and this one are prime examples. Carson's attempt with Charlie Rangel is more of an example of not quite going far enough with what could've been a real winner. We can analyze "Ducked and Chucked" ad nauseam, but it's worthy of a solid "C" at best. It did, fortunately, keep you out of Diegoland, but it was headed in that direction.

Simplicity is your friend. I read this thread about 45 minutes before chiming in, and my first thought about where I might've gone with it is what Mikey suggested. "Dead Gale" is an excellent selection. Concise, rhymes, conveys the message, has an element of humor, no preservatives or additives. "Howard the Dead Duck" would've also been a fine choice.

I hope you know that this will go down on your permanent record.

Looks as if there were 19.5 available age points, which is no small amount to look down on!

My calculations were as follows:

(100 - 61) x 0.5

I briefly considered adding something more to this thread but then decided against it, fearing any further contribution would simply fall short.

You were the one who planted that tiny bean in the dirt, Smackie. And it sprouted!
