"Nobody Knew Both Math & Speeling Could Be So Hard!"
The May jobs report had ‘misclassification error’ that made the unemployment rate look lower than it is. Here’s what happened
The unemployment rate is actually about 16.3 percent for May.

When the U.S. government’s official jobs report for May came out on Friday, it included a note at the bottom saying there had been a major “error” and the unemployment rate likely should be higher than the widely report 13.3 percent rate.
The special note said that if this misclassification error had not occurred, the “overall unemployment rate would have been about 3 percentage points higher than reported,” meaning the unemployment rate would be about 16.3 percent for May.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics, the agency that puts out the monthly jobs reports, said it was working to fix the problem.
“BLS and the Census Bureau are investigating why this misclassification error continues to occur and are taking additional steps to address the issue,” said a note at the bottom of the Bureau of Labor Statistics report.
Some took this as a sign that President Trump or one of his staffers might have tinkered with the data to make it look better, especially since most forecasters predicted the unemployment rate would be close to 20 percent in May, up from 14.7 percent in April. But economists and former BLS leaders from across the political strongly dismissed the idea that Trump or anyone else tampered with the data.
Economists say the BLS was trying to be as transparent as possible about how hard it is to collect real-time data during a pandemic. The BLS admitted that some people who should have been classified as “temporarily unemployed” during the shutdown were instead misclassified as employed but “absent” from work for “other reasons.”
============================================================================
Bunker Boy actually expected us to buy that the economy added 2.5 million jobs during a time in which most businesses were shut down.
This wasn't a "miscalculation." It was a manipulation of the stock market, which is a crime.

The TDS is strong in you. From your post, those in the know say it wasn’t direct manipulation.
But keep making up lies.

The Trump Devotion Syndrome is strong in you. It simply doesn't pass the smell test that nobody in Trump's Treasury Department thought to see if 2.5 million jobs being created during a time when most workplaces being closed is credible before releasing the report.Left Seater wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2020 4:13 pm The TDS is strong in you. But go ahead & accuse others of being obsessed while you ignore the huge fat turd in the middle of the room (this time I don't mean PW).

A sign...a sign..it is a sign.....might have tinkered is a great phrase..makes you want just believe every thing they say.
Got a link or specific statue that you can back that up with ?It was a manipulation of the stock market, which is a crime.

Again, your linked story says it isn't. You want to play conspiracy games? At least find some other whack job that is writing that. Instead you linked us up to something that says it isn't what you claim it is.Diego in Seattle wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2020 4:21 pmThe Trump Devotion Syndrome is strong in you. Re: "Nobody Knew Both Math & Speeling Could Be So Hard!"
Nothing to see here really. No conspiracy. No manipulation. Just a statistical error that’s been happening since March due to the unique circumstances of the pandemic.
For some reason, Diego’s source neglected to include the entire story. Maybe they ran out of room or something.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/business ... ion-error/
The fact that Trump thinks a14.7% unemployment rate is somehow historically wonderful news and a great day for George Floyd is pretty fucking ridiculous, but not out of character. At least we still have our tax cut, though.

It was evident to anyone with a room temperature IQ that the numbers that were pumped out are BOGUS.
The deceit is just overwhelming.
We are in a depression.
Period.

Since I don't give a fuck about looking up some US Code that could have been applied to a million other mother fuckers in Congress, both Democrats and Republicans over the past 50 years and most likely happening right now too.Diego in Seattle wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2020 4:39 pmSince you're too lazy to do a simple Google search...Derron wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2020 4:25 pmDiego in Seattle wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2020 3:58 pm

Trump no doubt has the skill or can hire the skill to play the market anyway he wants to. But him manipulating anything is the market to specifically target any specific equity for profit is laffable.
You should be more worried about the million other electronic traders, sharks, shorts and institutions that are manipulating the market on a daily basis for billions of dollars. Where is your outrage in that ?

Re: "Nobody Knew Both Math & Speeling Could Be So Hard!"
Once again a huge fail in the reading comprehension for you. Looking at my quote, I cannot remotely find any reference to "market regulation" anywhere in those 2 sentences. The market is what it is. The big players, which likely include more than a few of your liberal homies, since they are so well versed in deception and manipulation, they have been able to apply those same skill sets they use to manipulate, influence and suck off main stream media, the market is a piece of cake to them.
Seems like you would be all in for market regulation to keep the evil money changers from making a profit.
