24hr gyms

So, I switched to a 24 hour gym.
That way I could work out at 3am.
Love it. The fact that there's no distractions or waiting for machines, etc....

The other day, a small miata pulls in. Silver haired well manicured guy walks in at 3:30 am. I'm sweating like a pig on the treadmill on a very steep incline, and the guy gets on the treadmill right next to mine.
WTF???

There's no one in the gym but me. Ten other treadmills and he takes the one right next to me?
There's an unwritten rule that when the machines are all open,
Courtesy suggests that you keep a distance.
Any thoughts on why this occurred?

But wait, there's more.
The next day, same time, miata pulls up. Guy walks in, I'm on a leg extension machine .
He plops down his gym bag, and says, "mind if I work in with you?"

Keep in mind, there's another leg extension machine UNOCCUPIED!!!

What's this dude's problem?
This ever happened to anyone in an empty gym at 3:30 am?

Seems to me that it is sized for the typical Japanese male, someone maybe 5’7” or so. I t was a blast to drive but I always wished I could slide the seat back another inch or two.

This is prolly why it is popular with women and fags.

Mazda, do us a favor. Make an XL. Not much bigger. 2 inches in width, maybe 3-4 in length. And bolt a turbo on. You’ll sell boatloads.

Worked for Mazda for 6 years, I constantly asked why they didnt just put the twin turbo rotary from the last RX7 in to the Miata and offer it with a coupe. The Miata, or MX5 Roadster everywhere else in the world, is just built to be a fun little roadster to drive or race on the weekends. They're built more for 50/50 weight distribution and handling than they are speed.

I was told years ago that the rotary engine could never be perfect. And as a result, mazda ditched it

If they would simply stretch it a few inches, give it a fastback with hatch, it would be a practical car that normal sized American men would fit in. They'd sell boatloads.

And while the rotary was fun, it got shit mileage and oil burning issues. They should have just given it the 2.3 turbo used in the Mazdaspeed 3. It was about 260 hp. More than enough.

This would be pretty much a first gen RX-7, but without the rotary.
