Green's put up pretty damn impressive numbers for 3 yrs running.

He's really played well in KC after his first year, which pretty well sucked.

His only playoff game was a home loss where he tossed for just over 200 yds.

His case for being "top 5" would be a lot stronger if he had some post-season success on his resume.

Others that we routinely see on a "top 5 list" have had a measure of success when it REALLY matters.

I'll post my top 10 later, but just off the cuff I'd say Green is somewhere between 5 and 10.

Being the only Colts fan who ever shows up on this board, I'll come out and say for the record that Peyton can't be put up there with Brady... ...yet.

On the Colts.com board we've been hashing out this stats vs. title argument seemingly forever with Pats fans. I could bring up all sorts of situations where Manning has shown heart and the ability to make miraculous comebacks. The Tampa Bay monday nighter of 2 years ago comes to mind (down 21 points with 4 minutes to go, wins the game). I could show you situations where Manning has done what was needed to win games outside of just throwing it downfield.

But in the end, the titles will always trump the stats no matter many records are broken.

But I do have to take issue with HapDay. I cannot imagine Brady winning those championships without the likes of Willie McGinnest, Rodney Harrison, Ted washington, Teddy Brushi, Ty Law and co. back there to get the ball in his hands to win those championships.

I suppose this season will be very telling of this argument considering Brady no longer has Teddy Brushi or Ty law back there. At the same time he no longer has Charlie Weiss on the sideline directing him. If Tom Brady is the ultimate super QB as Pats will have us believe, then he'll win it again this year.

Its fun talking to Rushville. A fan who actually doesn't suffer from myopia. The Pats did win it all last year without Ty Law for the majority of the season. Their depth is amazing so im sure they will be fine. Their schedule is brutal though.......
